Grass Creek Park is an ideal picnic spot for kids and families. It compasses 95 acres of land. The park has a large sandy beach with a cordoned-off swimming area, picnic shelter, play equipment, rolling meadows, and an off-leash area. The park hosts an annual Sheep Dog Trials each August, which attract dogs and handlers from North America and the UK. Grass Creek Park has playing equipment, numerous picnic tables and sheltered picnic space. The park has ample parking areas.
