Awesome place to take the family. Spash pad park and a beautiful waterfront trial if you're in the mood for a relaxing walk filled with beautiful lake scenery. The new hospital has a cafe that is open to the public and makes for a great stop for a quick bite.

We love Grass Creek park. There are many many picnic tables and grills to BBQ on. There is a large play structure for kids. There are flush toilet washrooms that are fairly clean. The beach is a little small but there is so much space you don't really notice. This park hosts events on Canada Day and the annual Sheep Dog Trials in August with vendors, food kiosks etc. Bring your own food for regular days because there is no permanent food vendors near by.
