Love bringing my dog to the off leash walking trail. Some people keep their pups on a lease (makes leashed dogs defensive) when my big girl (shepherd/husky) wants to go check them out. I can call her back though. So it's a good idea to bring your dog here and not allow them to approach leashed dogs. It's a beautiful 15 minute slow walk. I usually turn around and go back to make it a longer walk for my girl. We love it. Careful on super windy days, trees tend to fall over the trail.

A great view of the city and the sleeping giant. There were nice flowers all around the park and benches to sit down and enjoy the view. The only issue is that there is quite a bit of graffiti in parts of the park including the flag pole and bell. There is also a nice playground for the kids.

Very large park with a great view. There are lots of camping spots for any sized vehicle. There is a nice sandy beach with great swimming. There is also an amusement park for the kids. The main pavillion has been restored to it's former glory with pictures from the past. There is a wildlife exhibit with wolves, moose, deer, birds...
