Here’s The Deal:
Hillcrest Park is one of the finest scenic outlooks place located in Thunder Bay. It has Sunken Gardens, historical monuments, a pavilion, and large green areas. The park is a popular spot for people to come and toss a football, kick a soccer ball or play frisbee. There is also a playground, a war memorial, benches, picnic tables and portable toilets available. The sunken garden has a beautiful place to take photos, whether people document their visit to Thunder Bay, a backdrop for weddings or family gatherings. Hillcrest Park has a beautiful display of over 70 varieties of flowers and a plaque dedicated to the late mayor. The ample parking allows for enjoying the view without even leaving the vehicle. Hillcrest Park has wheelchair access.

Vickers Park is one of the most popular green spaces in Thunder Bay. It has a welcoming and safe environment to play and learn. The park has three volleyball courts, a splash pad, two basketball courts, and many picnic pavilions and tables. The park has fitness stations, horseshoes, badminton equipment, and corn hole boards. Vickers Park is open to the public and hosts several events annually. There is a great playground available for kids and excellent walkways to walk and relax. The park has ample parking areas. Vickers Park is a nice park for a breath of fresh air, an easy walk around amongst the pines, nestled in a nice neighbourhood.
