“Sugarbush Heritage Park has beautiful trails filled with tall trees and shade, which are perfect for a good walkout. There is also a dog park available. The park provides clean air and a quiet place in the middle of the busy city. Children can enjoy their time at the playground in this park. It is the perfect place for all age groups. This park has free parking facilities. There are excellent hiking trails here.

2025 Update: Sugarbush Heritage Park has each plot measuring 8'x10' in this community garden used for growing flowers, fruits, and vegetables. The park is wheelchair accessible at the entrance. Visitors can enjoy a peaceful atmosphere while exploring its vibrant landscapes and engaging in recreational activities throughout the year.”

SUGARBUSH HERITAGE PARK REVIEWS

Always a great place to walk. Unfortunately dog owners don't feel like the rules apply to them allowing their dogs offleash, i don't enjoys having dogs run up to me and jump up especially since I'm allergic. The dogs also chase the wildlife and owners not picking up their dogs feces but even when they do tossing the bags deep into the forests. I've called to report this and ask for bilaw officers to be more present but I've yet to see any show up.

So relaxing ,lots of tall trees,lots of birds chirping ... perfect for a day out with the family. Restrooms: Washroom onsite.

Beautiful park. There’s excellent hiking trails here, and an awesome dog park.

So nice park! We've been living in a vicinity of this park for 1.5 years and weren't aware of it Such a gem! It has a little pond with ducks and gees, clean grass areas and 2 children active parks. Couple of small bridges and a big socker field. It has all the pros we like in parks. Very recommended to spend couple of hours and relax in this beautiful place.

A nice park with mature trees, good paths and is connected to The Bartléy Smith Greenway trail. This allows for a long extension and great exercise route for cycling and running.

this is a beautiful park in our neighbourhood. we often walk the river path which is paved from Dufferin to 407 and stretches all the way up to Rutherford.

really nice park. has 2 sets of swings, one on the main playground and a second near the courts. has multiple sports areas including baseball, basketball, soccer, and raquet sports. i love the rain garden and all the new trees planted to provide more shade. Playground: multiple playgrounds. they have a seperate one for toddlers/smaller children as well as a bigger playground for older children.

Beautiful park, lots of areas for picnics, there’s playgrounds, tennis and basketball court and everything is well taken care of. I loved the 3 playgrounds they’re very interactive for the kids and designed for different kid ages.

Good quality softball diamond but hard infield and a hard bumpy outfield. Could use more watering and grading.
