5 FISHERMEN RESTAURANT REVIEWS
First visit here (from Ontario)… our experience this evening was amazing! Our server Andrea was outstanding (and she’s actually the Head Bartender subbing for someone who is off sick). All staff were friendly and accommodating! Crab cakes were great & oysters Rockefeller were incredible. Sirloin perfect and lobster dinner superb. I’ve never had a better restaurant experience… anywhere, Look up customer service in the dictionary and there’s a pic of Five Fishermen. Expensive & worth it.
This place is fantastic! Was a recommendation from a friend. We were only in Halifax for two nights but after enjoying it so much the first night we returned. We made a reservation and were seated promptly. The whole place had a great vibe with friendly staff and excellent music. Our server Sydney was excellent! She made several recommendations and was spot on with each one. The drinks we enjoyed were The South End (gin) and Tequila Mockingbird (Tequila) and they were delicious!
5 stars are not enough for my experience here. Food was amazing (shrimp toast was delicious), staff were lovely and the restaurant is stunning. My spouse booked our reservation for our 6 year anniversary, they went above and beyond with a complimentary drink and even gave me a rose after our dinner. Unbeknownst to the staff he proposed that night on the waterfront and having the service and experience we did that night made everything more magical. Definitely a go for date night .

SALTY'S RESTAURANT REVIEWS
It’s was the perfect day for lunch on the pier and we took at table outside. Waiter was friendly and took good care of us. We had the fresh lobster and fish and chips. The lobster wasn’t cheap at $40/lb but it was delicious and worth the splurge. The fish and chips were perfect — crispy batter and fresh, clean tasting fish. We also had their Nova Scotia wild blueberry pound cake. They had me at wild blueberry. A perfect meal on the water. Highly recommend.
We had a great dinner here sitting outside on the deck watching the boats go by and enjoying the sunset. The staff was extremely helpful waiting on us with four adults and two kids under two. All the food was excellent and made for wonderful experience. Highly recommend this place.
The Seafood Platter is the best and reasonably priced. The shrimp is crispy and the fish is fresh and crispy, too. Both are tasty. The portion of the calamari is kind of small but it is tasty. We missed the place when we were trying the restaurant next door the following day.

THE PRESS GANG RESTAURANT & OYSTER BAR REVIEWS
My colleagues and I went for a late dinner here and had a great time. The oysters were some of the best (and largest) that I have ever had and the seafood risotto was delicious. I think the atmosphere is great for a date or for business. I’d love to come back in the winter because I think it would be more romantic and cozy, given the restaurant is somewhat underground and dark.
Absolutely loved everything about this place. The location was in mid downtown core, so it was easy to find. They had live music, which was a great touch to my dinner. The fresh oysters was to die, for I would fly all the way back from Toronto just to try these oysters again. Would definitely recommend and would definitely go back.
Awesome restaurant in Halifax! I went there with colleagues and we all enjoyed our meals. Most of us had the rib eye or the seafood risotto. Ambiance is very cool and I also see myself going back with my significant other. I recommend!
