“Shogun Sushi is an excellent all-you-can-eat restaurant that offers a variety of menus and an impressive range of sushi. The restaurant is based on the concept of using a tablet for buffets. The price of the dishes is affordable. In addition, Shogun Sushi also offers some alcohol. Their mission is probably to provide more flavours and a variety of dishes for their customers. Their Rue Lévis includes crab, avocado, cucumber, tobiko, tempura shrimp, and eel served on a sheet of rice. The cuisine is consistently excellent, with generous portions. Shogun Sushi serves great cocktails and vegan dishes.”

Michael Tremblay, the chef is the most creative and passionated chef ever. The food is exceptional, the staff amazing. This is actually by far one if not the best restaurant in the province of Quebec. If you goes to Saguenay, this restaurant must be in your bucket list 100%.

Amazing sushi place in Chicoutimi, staff is friendly and looking forward to your experience. They will answer all your question and even suggest item or special on the menu. A must go if you are in the area and looking for a nice place.

All the sushi places that I've tried here in the Saguenay region tend to have their own take on sushi (not all traditional fish used and lots of fruit incorporated). With this said, Temaki does the best. Best to get a reservation, as they tend to be busy at all hours especially on weekends. This is also the only place offering a food truck that will come to special events.

SHOGUN SUSHI REVIEWS

I love this place. You have the best of both worlds, you can have Chinese food and or sushi. You get to choose what you want through a tablet. Then you send of about 5 to ten item at first, depending on how many people are in your party. Then before your finished that you go through and order a bit more. Since it is an all you can eat DO NOT over order. Sometimes your eye are bigger than you stomach. (It has happened a couple times, haha) this way you can enjoy your meal and your company. Food taste great and the staff is wonderful, in my experience I've had great service.

Exquisite, excellent concept for buffet to avoid wastage...really nice ambience, fresh preparations. Visiting the region on a holiday, will definitely dine here next time we pass through Chicoutimi, even my son loved it.

I lived 10 yearsin Vancouver which some would say is the Canadian hub for Asian cuisine and this sushi place got it right. The menu and taste is the real deal and just like back in BC. I can't really do the Quebecois sushi, it's much too sweet. Everything is so fresh.

AKI SUSHI / AKI THAI REVIEWS

A must for anyone wanting some good seafood! The pot en pot is a seafood pot pie, and it had nice big chunks of meat. Same with the seafood Alfredo pasta. The kids both got salmon, and they gobbled it up. For dessert we got a slice of the chocolate cake, which was good but not necessarily the best I have had.

It's the best affordable place to eat sushi. You have a wide variety of sushis on top of pizza sushis and thai food. Everything is professionally made and you can even eat in little salons where you have to remove you footwear. It's very Asian.
