Had an enjoyable meal with the family at Makimono. A couple of us had the all you can eat menus and others went a la carte. The menus are decent and varied. Sushi is really good. Other foods, curries etc are also amazing. Portion size on a la carte menu is good. Selection options for those with dietary restrictions like my wife were very, very sparse..

We love coming here! They have a huge selection, the service is incredibly fast and the taste is second to none. We celebrated my daughter's birthday and had a wonderful time.

The restaurant is nice and environment is good. Service is also nice. Dessert is really nice.

A small but nice sushi restaurant. We went for weeknight dinner and the place was pretty full. Servers were attentive and fast. Probably the best and freshest fish I’ve had in Durham so far. Their nigiri and sashimi were great, I highly recommend the eel and tuna. My family and I really enjoyed our dinner here!

Perfect sushi and the quality has been consistent since I first started coming here 11 years ago! Best miso soup in GTA - so rich in flavour, it warms up your heart. Amazing sushi all around!

Amazing sushi and quality of food! Used to go here frequently back in my undergraduate days, we recently went there and the food is just as good as I remember. Highly recommend.

We picked up a party tray yesterday Maki for three. It was amazing. So beautiful and fresh. Some of us don't eat raw fish so this tray was perfect for us. Sushi today has a lot more unique rolls than other places. My personal favorite is the yam roll. Totally recommend to get this if you are hosting or visiting friends

Love going here! Have gone with different friends and all of them have enjoyed it. Wide range of options on the menu, tablets so you can read descriptions and see pictures. Also lots of vegan options. Also idk how to explain it but the soda here always taste great, my friend and I call it the "good coke place"

100% one of my favorite sushi places to visit in the Durham area. The quality of the fish here is always exceptional and the price is great too! I really enjoy the atmosphere at this location which has nice tables/couches and ample amounts of space. My favorite dish here is the steamed custard buns and the creme glace custard which is rare to find at a sushi place. Overall great balance between price, quality and consistently delivery of that quality is rare to find at a restaurant. I'll continue to come back here!
