Look this place is a hidden gem! Amazing sushi, tempura! Big portions for the cost. Tasty miso soup and salad too. Definitely going back. Don't expect fine dining this used to be a fish and chips place. The decor shows. Look past the plastic booths and blue tiled walls. Vegetarian options too by the way. This has become my go-to place to have sushi delivered in Ajax. While other places including chains are a bit cheaper, the quality and flavour from Umi is well worth the price. Their ingredients are consistently fresh, even when on sale. I absolutely love the PT 11 Party Tray, great variety of rolls. You don’t get a lot for the price, but it’s good.

This place is a hidden gem. I can be picky with sushi but the sushi here was delightful. The rice was the right texture and tasted freshly made, It is some of the best sushi I've had in a long time. The pork belly was to die for! I 100% recommend.
