Khob Khun Thai Cuisine

This is a small mom and pop store in Coquitlam that we went to after our hike at Bunzten lake. We didn’t know what to expect as the place didn’t have too many reviews but were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. We were a large group and got a variety of items like the vegan and chicken khao suey, panang curry, green thai curry, papaya salad. Everything was very delicious, very well plated and very good quantities too. The server seemed like the owner of the store who was also helping prepare the meals. Very homely and super value for money. Spice level 3 in the appetizers was definitely spicy for us, so we made it 2 for the main course items. Highly recommend if you like Thai food.

From the outside the expectations are low, but as you enter the restaurant, you can tell it’s tradition food! The aroma and the flavors are amazing! I have been going to many other very well known places locally but the quality here is a cut above. Anything you have here is going to be great! It’s a must stop for any Thai cuisine lover.

Ordered for the first time tonight and had THE BEST Thai I’ve had in a long time! I got the green curry, garlic pork and pad Thai with coconut rice. It was delicious and the staff/owners were so polite and kind! I cannot wait to try more!!
