“Kinghaven Treatment Centre offers a 70-day intensive residential treatment program for individuals dealing with problematic substances that follows a Harm Reduction Model of addiction treatment. The centre also provides outpatient community-based alcohol and drug counselling. Kinghaven Treatment Centre always makes its clients feel satisfied and relieved. George Schmidt Centre and Bob Sutton Centre offers an 18-month supportive housing program for adult men continuing their wellness and recovery journey. Each client receives support in creating individualized treatment and aftercare plans tailored to their needs. Kinghaven Treatment Centre has provided addiction recovery and treatment services to over 25,000 men.

2025 Update: The centre has been serving the people for 55 years. Their Valley House Stabilization program is designed for long-term, chronic substance use. The staff at this clinic were amazing! The 2 ladies at the front desk were super helpful in assisting me get my suboxone prescription as it was a Friday afternoon and I was in the process of finding a new clinic as the one I was attending was only open 1 day a week and the doctor was only available 4 hours and it was difficult for me to see her due to my work schedule. I live in Surrey but am staying in Abbotsford for a few weeks an due to missing my last appointment with the Surrey clinic I had already missed 2 doses of my meds and was very worried I would be stuck with nothing over the weekend and I would either go into nightmare withdrawals or relapse!! I walked into Abbotsford Heath Centre and was able to get my Rx promptly. I will be switching to New Beginnings clinic in Surrey as they have flexible hours and are open 5 days a week which will be very helpful with my work schedule. The Pharmacy next door was great too and convenient. I am so very grateful for this clinic and the great staff. I highly suggest anyone looking for a new clinic and compassionate staff/doctors definitely visit this clinic! Addiction is not easy but having kind and compassionate support is the key to remaining sober and healthy! Best of luck to anyone struggling :) Bal B.

The staff here are very well knowledgeable regards drug addiction, mental health and relapse prevention I've been here 8weeks and really putting the hard work in regards my recovery of drug addiction my counselor Mikeael Letein has really been here for me and dose a great job also the Clinical manager Bobbi is very good for Kinghaven she has gotten the treatment center lots of great programs regards every area for us to better our lives while here and to get us ready for the real world when graduate here with recovery knowledge tools that help us day to day recovery thanks guys.

Kinghaven is an amazing place it is my first time in recovery and the staff taught me so much valuable tools to stay sober, the food is awesome, the friends you meet here and the brotherhood bonds you make, make this a great place. It let's you put a pause on life so you can get the help you need and focus on YOU and your goals. I am now a year sober thanks to them and many other people, thank you kinghaven you helped save my life!

Into Action Abbotsford is an amazing place to get clean and sober at. The property and house are unlike any treatment centre I’ve seen and the staff is amazing. The Into Action Recovery is a huge family so coming here isn’t just getting sober, you are joining a family of men who care and support you in everything you do. If you’re struggling or know someone struggling I can’t recommend this place enough as it saved my life and countless others. The property is beautiful, the house is clean and stacked with everything you need, and the gym is tremendous!

Into Action has saved my life from a hopeless state of mind and body! I landed hear from the correctional system not understanding my problem of addiction. Due to the exceptional programming, I'm now 6 month's sober and finally understand who I am as a person. I am forever grateful for the Into Action team!

My Experience at this place was life changing not only did I receive an amazing opportunity to make a complete turn around in my life but I also gained long term sobriety through the process of being a resident at Into Action, these guys are amazing truly care and give awesome support!
