“2025 Update: Alberta Adolescent Recovery Centre is licensed as a Residential Addiction Treatment Service Provider under the Mental Health Services Protection Act in the Province of Alberta. The centre offers a long-term addiction treatment program for youth and young adults who continue to abuse substances despite negative consequences. The centre's program has a 30-year track record of treating youth and families. The centre is often the last resort for families that have exhausted many programs with little to no success. ALBERTA ADOLESCENT RECOVERY CENTRE REVIEWS

AARC treatment kick started my sobriety and recovery. I had no idea how bad things had gotten in my addiction. I was numb and desensitized to any kind of therapy and even drug addiction counsellors. Coming into AARC was difficult for the first while. However, slowly, I was introduced to the 12 Steps and was able to process my addiction and mental health with specialized counsellors but also peers who understood my experiences. I am beyond grateful and encourage any parent/teen who is considering taking this step to do it. It is one of the best things that has ever happened to me.

AARC saved both my kids as well as myself. This Family deserves disease was more than I could manage. AARC worked with all of us to rebuild a very broken family. Today we all live in recovery and will be forever grateful to the entire team. Traci

AARC saved us all from a life of misery. Our family was being torn up and our 15yr old son was out of control. Daily life was full of crazy events that stem from addiction. AARC taught us that recovery is all about progress, not perfection, and gave us the tools to live a better life. Thank you AARC, we are so grateful.

FRESH START RECOVERY CENTRE REVIEWS

My family has been involved with AA and Fresh Start for many years and it had done wonderful things for my family and I. I cannot be more grateful that a program like this exists. Yes the wait times are painfully long to get help, but it is worth every second of patience. I have a long lasting love for the team at Fresh Start and will hopefully continue to stay connected. Hugs.

What a welcoming and warm energetic place to be. Visitors are required to sign in and out to promote safety and security. There is all kinds of amenities and fun things to do; like a full size gym and work out room, a stage and instruments on hand, a game room, and even a theater. The staff are wonderful caring people who are willing to do whatever it takes. The food is great and healthy, and served fresh from the kitchen daily. The facility is clean and modern. This is the right place to be to get back on track and feel healthier. 10/10

Staff and house are absolutely excellent I don't believe you would ever find more caring people that go the distance for you no matter what I never completed the program, but that was my short comings not the fresh start centre.

Dr. Khosa at the Smart Clinic - Best Yet! Having lost my GP of nearly twenty-five years to retirement, I found myself in a medical predicament. I saw five GPs accepting new patients, but with a complicated medical history, every single one showed me the door. My pharmacist recommended the Smart Clinic, having heard positive feedback about the Physicians who practice there. I made an appointment, and Dr. Khosa showed an interest in my care. Sure enough, I have a new Doctor who is thorough and caring. Without being punctilious regarding my medical issues, Dr. Khosa has been attentive and knowledgeable, spending the time required for each appointment. He has gone out of his way to help me deal with my complex medical needs—a five out of five stars for Dr. Khosa and the entire Smart Clinic’s Physicians and staff.

Today, I went to Smart Client and received a Vitamin IV infusion. Dr. Simran provided me with an excellent service and I had a wonderful experience. The staff were very friendly and showed that they truly cared about my well-being. After the treatment, my body felt more hydrated and my immunity was boosted. Additionally, I noticed that my skin had become healthier.

Dr. Navneet Khosa stands out as an exceptional physician. His attentive listening and effective treatment approach make him truly remarkable.
