Alberta Health Services is Canada’s first and largest province-wide, fully integrated health system responsible for delivering health services in Alberta. They also have an extensive network of community-based services designed to assist Albertans in maintaining & improving their health status. The center is 117,000 skilled and dedicated health professionals, support staff and 15,000 volunteers. Their prevention services focus on raising awareness and understanding of alcohol, tobacco, and other drug and gambling-related issues. They are Working closely with local groups, agencies, schools, and employers to provide support to projects aimed at mobilizing the community to prevent and address these issues. Alberta Health Service utilizes Cognitive behavioural therapy.
