“Rising Above is operated by people who genuinely care about the clients they serve. From the staff body to the board of directors, they are people who all have personal experiences, stories, and passions that enable them to keep doing the good work. They are fathers, mothers, sisters, brothers, husbands, wives, grandfathers, grandmothers, and friends who have come together for one purpose: to see people break free from their cycle of defeat. Each client is provided with housing and is required to partake in programming, which includes life-skills classes, case management meetings, Inner Healing sessions, anonymous groups, employment readiness training, and opportunities for personal and spiritual development.
2025 Update: They accommodate 33 (19 men, 14 women) in-house program. The admission requires a 7-day clean time, a successful application and interview process, and a clean drug and breathalyzer test.”
