3 Best Addiction Treatment Centers in Saint John, NB

I am now 2 years sober and not a day goes by that I am not grateful to everyone who helped me to get where I am today. Jean, the staff, the nurses, the custodians, the kitchen staff and the patients I spent 7 days with. If you are reading this and you are sick and frightened half to death to make that call, I was you. If you knew me back then, you knew I couldn't do this, I wasn't strong enough, I was too sick, I couldn't leave my home for a week, I couldn't live without alcohol (what was the point in that) I couldn't spend a week with strangers, nobody could possibly understand what I was going through, I would rather die than face this....hmmmm, guess I didn't even know me back then. These people are wonderful, caring, professional and will go to the ends of the earth to protect your identity, your dignity, your health and your pride...and if you no longer have any of those when you get there, you will have them when you leave. I will never forget where I came from, how easily I could end up back there and the incredible journey that began here. I am not particularly religious but I believe with all my heart God sent these angels to us to save us from ourselves. Thank you will never be enough for what you ALL have given me. 9 patients, 9 deer...that night will live in my fondest memory always. That's when I knew I was where I was meant to be. Thank you for my life! And for the many times staff/nurses took me in over the years! I am still alive after suffering the hells of addiction/active alcoholism. In the past I had periods of sobriety, and then I would land back in detox, and today I am one of the fortunate to survive with the support and encouragement from ALL of the staff of Ridgewood Addiction Services. This includes nurses and treatment staff who never judged me, and cared enough for me to safely detox me, keep me alive and supply me always with hope and encouragement. Includes also cleaning and maintenance staff who never complained and who were always glad to see me back and not dead. All the gals in the Cafeteria who fed me and took care of me and saw me for who i was, not just a drunk. For the intake staff and administration, the addiction counselors and the addiction education classes so that I could understand what was happening in my body. Success today! I celebrate 1 year clean and sober March 2019. Thank you all, I couldn't have done it alone.

Love this place. Took me 4 times but I finally got clean. 21 day program was great. I cried my last day. I didn't want to leave. I felt safe there. Lovely people too.
