Esker Foundation is Calgary's most extensive private, non-commercial contemporary art gallery. Founded in 2012 by Jim and Susan Hill. Esker Foundation is a place for institutional relevance, curatorial focus, and audience engagement. They connect the public through valuable, open, and educational exhibits, programs, and publications to contemporary art. The gallery presents exhibitions, engaging and accessible educational programs, online and print publications, and supports new artistic production. In addition, the gallery reflects on current developments in local, regional, and international culture and creates opportunities for public dialogue. They support the production of groundbreaking new work, ideas, and research. Esker Foundation's programs include three exhibition changes per year for the fall, winter, and spring/summer seasons. In addition, the Esker Foundation offers free admissions.
