TOP 3 CALGARY ZOO REVIEWS
I spent a wonderful afternoon at the Calgary Zoo, located in the heart of Calgary, Alberta. The zoo is well-organized and clean, making for a pleasant visit right from the entrance. The variety of animals is impressive, with highlights including the playful penguins and majestic lions. The exhibits are thoughtfully designed, providing both educational information and engaging experiences. My favorite part was the Panda Passage, where I got to see the adorable giant pandas up close. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, enhancing the overall experience. Dining options were good, with plenty of choices for all tastes. Overall, the Calgary Zoo offers excellent value for money and is a great place for both families and solo visitors. I highly recommend it for an enjoyable and educational outing.
This was my best zoo experience. The animals were alert and being fed. The various pavilions and areas were well laid out offering a well planned walk through so you never missed anything. Be prepared with comfortable shoes, your camera and money for delicious snacks and ice cream. An easy way to visit this zoo is to go to the Marlough train station and get off 3 stops later at Zoo station. An easy walk down a ramp right into the Zoo and Science Ctr. It was a busy time as many students were visiting on this last week of school.
We had so much fun! Even our 9 month old got to join in on the fun. I like how the zoo is organized into separate areas by biome/continent. Unfortunately we went during a hot day, so all the animals were docile except the penguins.

TOP 3 HERITAGE PARK HISTORICAL VILLAGE REVIEWS
I recently attended an organizational event at Heritage Park, and even though the park was closed to the general public, it was a fantastic experience. I was pleasantly surprised by the sheer size of the park—it spans an extremely large area with realistic setups that depict life in Calgary many generations ago. It’s essentially an entire town set up in a historical format, making it a fascinating place to explore. One highlight of my visit was the veterinary area, where I got to see how veterinary medicine was practiced back in the day. Our event was set up in the amusement park section, and I had the opportunity to try several rides, including the Ferris wheel. The staff were incredibly kind, polite, and gracious, ensuring we had a memorable experience. I also noticed a train track that circles the park and regretted not having the chance to ride the trains. I’ll definitely have to come back to Heritage Park next time I’m in Calgary. I highly recommend this park for families and anyone with an interest in history.
Huge historical museum which I liked more than any other attraction in Calgary. If you are going to visit this place, I would allocate 2 to 3 hours of your time at a minimum. ⛲ Here you will find the very old neighborhoods of the old Calgary that used to be, in fact there are a huge amount of different buildings and separate little museums on the grounds. The train station, as well as the miners' mines. There's a whole entertainment complex for the kids, lots of different retro style stores. I kind of plunged into the time when it was all there, maximum immersion in the old world. I almost forgot to say that there is also an old restored train that can take you around the museum (park). Here you can also find different animals in a certain area of the museum. I loved this place so much, I recommend anyone who in Calgary for a couple days to visit this place!
Excellent place to picnic and walk. The staff is great and very knowledgeable of their location, Canada and the park itself. You can ask plenty of questions and they will answer cheerfully. Summer: sunblock and water needed. Be prepared to walk or ask for the mobility bus at the ticket booth.

TOP 3 DEVONIAN GARDENS REVIEWS
A perfect find in the mall while shopping. The tables and chairs are a great idea if you want a calm environment to just relax, or study. If you are working nearby, it is a perfect place for lunch breaks to get away from the daily grind. Visiting the place makes you forget about stress and deadlines at work, even for just an hour. Minimal labels on plants, so more about relaxing than learning.
A nice little oasis within the city's core. I like it and it can be quite relaxing at times. There is a nice little playground for the kids a d a great place to chill, eat or even read. Sometimes you even get a person playing the piano there.
It was the best place which you can spend your time, shopping, have a meal or taking photos. Different kind of trees and plants. Nice and safe place for children, where they can play and enjoy.
