CALGARY ZOO REVIEWS
A wonderful zoo, a place to lift your spirits. Numerous animal species in spacious and well-maintained enclosures. You can spend hours watching amusing meerkats and agile monkeys performing acrobatic stunts. The penguins are particularly noteworthy, being the highlight of the zoo. You can observe them up close that you won't even notice the partition of the enclosure. In winter, you can also witness a paradoxical spectacle - pink flamingos amidst the snow. It's hard to imagine, but the beautiful combination is truly amazing, and it's incredible they don't freeze.
This was a really enjoyable experience. Great habitats for all the different animals, and a great variety. The gardens and butterfly house were exceptional too. We would have paid to see them on their own. So much shade, plenty of places to eat or picnic, many playgrounds and kid friendly exhibits. We caught the train from downtown. Very easy and quick.
Best place to spend a day inside the city. I liked watching penguins , Alpaca lions and many more animals the most. It was like you are in a entirely different world. Watching bear accumulating leaves for making himself warm was an encouraging experience. Lions were all sleeping but nice. Some Sparrows actually it was my awesome trip with my family parking lot also wider.

THE MILITARY MUSEUMS REVIEWS
The museum was very impressive. Unfortunately also a bit depressing. Thanks to Dave, who welcomed us at the entrance and explained a lot in advance. This has greatly simplified the visit to the museum. It is very special and also somewhat exciting to see how the individual areas of the Canadian military have had an influence on the various wars. Very moving also the individual areas where the fallen are commemorated.
Great museum. Nice collection of tanks, armoured vehicles, aircrafts. Amazing ship models. A lot of history of the wars and missions around the globe. Reach collection of uniforms. I spent there around 4.5 hours, one hour outside. There is a place to eat and a small souvenir shop. Museum has a good discount for students. Visiting this museum also gives a discount for the Hangar Museum.
One of my favourite experiences from visiting Calgary. It was amazing to go through each of the sections and read stories about the Canadian military over time, how it's advanced, the battles it had, the types of equipment that was used. My only regret is that I didn't stay longer. There was so much information and artifacts to see. Anyone who has even a slight interest in history should visit this place. There was also a student discount which is a big plus.

DEVONIAN GARDENS REVIEWS
To start with, the gardens are a great place to visit in winter. The greenery and living walls have a way of lifting ones mood and providing a warm and welcome break from the cold snowy days. In the warmer months, it is cheerful and busy. I especially like the kids' play zone with kid sized climbing wall which gives a cozy spot for visitors and shoppers with kids to get off their feet while their kids run amok. The fish pond is relaxing with brilliantly colored fish. The piano towards the back is another favorite attraction. It is open for anyone, I've been lucky to listen to a few talented people share their musical talents. Devonian Gardens is a great place for individuals, couples, casual meetings and family visit. Will recommend.
aIts a really lovely place to walk around to feel like you're in a tropical climate. There's a wide variety of plants to look at, as well as ponds with fish that are really beautiful.
Stunning pond and lavish tropical plant exhibit that you can enjoy lunch from the food court in. Palm trees, lots of assorted greenery make it the most stunning food court anywhere! Amazing.
