We’ve had the pleasure of working with Kailyn twice - once for an in-home newborn session with our second child and again for a mini-session in her home a few months after we welcomed our third! We are so grateful to have had these precious times in our lives captured so perfectly by Kailyn. What’s truly special about Kailyn’s work is the way she mixes more traditional posed photos with candid moments, yet both seem equally natural, warm and joyful. She gives wonderful direction so that even the most awkward in front of the lens (read: me) feels comfortable and she’s fantastic working with kids! We treasure the shots she’s taken of our family and will no doubt work with her again in the not too distant future.

We had the pleasure of booking Kailyn for our maternity session back in December 2018. It was a no brainer since she was also our wedding photographer. Kailyn's pictures tell a story and captured my husband's and my excitement to welcome our new baby. Her photography ranges from warm and soft images that leave you with a fuzzy feeling to edgy images that will leave you speechless. I would 200% recommend Kailyn for any family portraits. Kailyn truly takes out the stress of a photoshoot by making you feel comfortable. The bonus is she delivers images that go above and beyond what she has promised.

Kailyn is amazing!! She recently did a large family photo session for us. This session had multiple generations including children ages 2-14. Kailyn was phenomenal - very patient, creative and positive the whole way through. She is so talented, professional - but relatable. Her photos are gorgeous and she has a good eye...even in those unplanned special moments. Kailyn's turnaround time for editing the photos was very efficient and well within the time she had said they would be done. I Absolutely love her work and I highly recommend her.

I especially appreciate her outspoken support of queer, disabled and fat folks. The diverse array of models in Katie's portfolio is so so lovely to see. <3.

We had such an amazing experience with Katie on 2 separate occasions (a maternity session and then some fall family photos). Katie has a true talent for capturing beautiful moments. Not only was Katie professional and punctual, but also made us feel so comfortable during the shoot.
