WITH THE GRAIN BAKERY REVIEWS
Got my wedding cake and other pastries here and they were all so delicious and they looked so good! My husband and I tried soo many cakes in the Guelph area and beyond and only With The Grain exceeded all our expectations. First of, the overall look for the price is simply unbeatable. Other places we've looked at easily charged double the price for mediocre-looking cakes. Second of all, the service was amazing. They responded to inquiries right away and for someone who's planning a wedding, With The Grain helped make this part of the process seamless. Lastly, these are the best tasting cakes and pastries we've ever had, we keep coming back for cupcakes and everything else well after our wedding. Thank you so much for all that you do, love this place so much!
Amazing Vegan Cake! Not being on top of things I had a hard time finding the right bakery to make a vegan cake for my son’s 1st birthday. Luckily, With the grain was my last minute saviour and the cake was beautiful and delicious too! Thank you Erin for making our son’s birthday even more special! Support local business!
One of my favorite bakeries in the world! The sourdough bread is so hearty and healthy. I haven't tried many desserts but they all look great. The prices are higher than the grocery store but worth it. They also have coffee.

ERIC THE BAKER REVIEWS
Everything from here is delicious! I've been a few times whenever I'm downtown and have cash with me! I'm no authority on European authenticity of baked goods, but I don't think that matters with how tasty and fresh the food always is. I've heard from other people this place is legit if that matters to you. I'm personally a fan of the croissants, and had the pleasure of having their red pepper and potato soup today (perfect for the cold weather!) Support local, indulge on some incredible pastries and breads without any regret!
I randomly stopped in today and was amazed. Very traditional bakery with staff that were patient, friendly, and engaging. So happy I found this place and I will be back again. If you’re looking to support a great local business with traditional baked goods, this is the place to be. Well done and thank you for an excellent visit today!
This is one of the best bakeries in town. I like the danish and croissants. It gives me a taste of France. On the weekend it usually has a line-up. So go early if you like to get the fresh goodies. A couple things to note are that they close pm Sundays and cash only.

POLESTAR HEARTH REVIEWS
Best bread we have ever had! We buy the super seed loaf at least once a week. Even our kids 3 and 6 years old are obsessed with it and will eat almost half the loaf in the car before we get home. We drive from Fergus just for this bread it’s that good!
I've been dying to come here! Best pastries I've ever had & the cinnamon bun was so fluffy. Coffee was great too but only drip coffee here & no dairy free milk. Couldn't believe how affordable it all was. Such a local gem & will definitely be back.
Always a delicious stop for bread or treats. Their menu rotates seasonally. I grabbed a dark chocolate brownie, butternut turnover and apple hand pie today. They do tend to sell out, so plan to go early.
