3 Best Bakeries in Whitby, ON

I came here looking for a doughnut and some hot chocolate and was blown away at the selection and welcoming staff! It is loaded with all sorts of goodies that I did not expect like imported candy’s and meats. I found a chocolate bar that I have been looking for years for! I was welcomed by a man in an orange shirt when I came in and was helped by a young man who gave me some time to figure out what I wanted and then did a great job helping me I ended up taking home a crazy delicious looking peanut butter cupcake. The best apple fritter I have ever had! And a great hot chocolate all for less than $10.

A great little gem in Whitby! Their pastries are delicious (hence why I forgot to take a picture before eating it all). So soft and not too sweet. Apparently the apple fritters are the best but by 12pm they were gone so will have to go back to try again. They have a variety and the staff are so helpful and welcoming.

It's not about money it's about taste. The best cheesecake I have ever tasted in life was from here. Every bite that you have is an experience in itself. The Nutella cupcake was soft spongy. I loved the taste and am willing to try their entire menu out. Must visit. Highly recommended.

Such an amazing bakery. This is my first time trying COBS bakery and the experience was amazing. Surprisingly it was not a long wait to get our stuff. The workers over there were so nice and accommodating. They offered us a free sample of the pumpkin scone with the icing and it was delicious. It just melted in the mouth. We ordered 2 chocolate croissants, a pumpkin scone and a ham and cheese croissant. The chocolate croissant is sooo good and one of the best thatI have tried. The ham and cheese croissant is to die for and is a must try for everyone visiting COBS. Lastly, the pumpkin scone sample was really good that I had to get the full one. Overall, I would highly recommend this place to everyone. They make fresh bread too which I hear is amazing. The cost is so worth the price because it is quality products. I will definitely be coming back again.

Good for takeout items. They can't warm up anything and generally croissants colder than room temperature for sure. Unless you like cold croissants, you can't eat right away. Even with that said, I would still give this place a 5 star rating. Their ham and cheese croissants and cinnamon buns are perfect if you warm them up slightly at home. Drop by and grab a few items for the week to have in the morning daily.

So glad to see a COBS bakery in Durham region. Disappointed in the fact it is a very small store. But the bread and pastries are well worth it. The blueberry custard danish was out of this world.I was going to take a picture of it but I devoured it so quickly. I should of brought more.
