Delicious place to start your day! Everyone enjoyed their food. Their hollandaise sauce is delicious and eggs are cooked to perfection and to your liking. We are traveling in a big group and most places wouldn’t have us, but hostess was so helpful and managed to set a table for us. Would definitely recommend trying it out!

WOW! Experienced a different OEB location a few months ago and had a spectacular experience and this one was comparable to that. Food came out fast and was cooked perfectly. We could see the kitchen staff working their butts off! Presentation was amazing and food tasted incredible!

I've walked past this place a thousand times, and today was the day I finally stopped for brunch. I got the Croque Madame to-go - the staff were friendly and helpful. The service was fast! And the food... was hot and delicious! I can't wait to try more menu items.

BENNYS BREAKFAST BAR REVIEWS

We ate at Benny's Breakfast Bar for the first time today and can't wait to go back. This place is not just locally owned, it's locally inspired! There are nostalgic photos of Calgary landmarks on the walls, vintage AB license plates and car culture decor, and music paraphernalia everywhere. The ambiance is super fun. The menu is extensive and very creative. We had a difficult time deciding what to order! Particularly because... drum roll, please... all of the sides (meat, hashbrowns, bread products) are available gluten free! (I can't recall the last time I had the option for a GF bagel with my eggs. Probably never.) Portions were generous and very reasonably priced. There was quite a line when we arrived Saturday at 10:30 am, but we had joined the online waitlist before we arrived. We only waited about 10 minutes once we were there. And our server was so friendly, attentive, and helpful with our many questions. We'll be back with our daughter soon. Next time, I'll try the GF Benny's cakes. Dietary restrictions: LOTS of gluten free options! From the long list of sides, all of the meats (several types of sausage, ham, bacon), hashbrowns, and bread products were gluten free. GF toast could be subbed for a GF bagel or English muffin at no extra charge. Kid-friendliness: SUPER kid friendly! Fun, lively 50s diner atmosphere with lots of food options.

Our server Jessica was so great, she is personable, and her recommendations felt genuine! We had the Wagyu Beef bowl & Reuben- and we enjoyed the whole meal. The milkshakes were also real ingredients- apple pie was amazing and my dad loved the cherry. We’ll be back. Old school diner theme is cool as well.

One of the best places to have breakfast if you have a Gluten Intolerance or like me, Celiac Disease. The staff is knowledgeable and incredibly friendly. Been multiple times without issue. Will always go back, keep up the good work! Dietary restrictions: Celiac Disease / Gluten.

Food was so delicious, that it had my boyfriend and I craving it later that day and the next morning!! A friend recommended it to us, and it did not disappoint in the slightest. We'll be back very soon. For a person that has a hard time finishing their meal any time we eat out for breakfast, I completely devoured all my food on my plate. Phenomenal breakfast place!!!

My friend took me for breakfast today and absolutely I was blown away by how tasty the food is. I ordered Cali Poutine and it was perfect combination of flavors. Definitely will take my family and go next week. The only thing that they need a bigger place as the place is very small compared to how many people were waiting in line.

It was a really great experience. The service was really friendly and accommodating. The hash in the duck fat was really good. I've never had that before. A big plus is how they support local farms and businesses. Makes me wanna support more. The waitress also told me they get treated well too.
