HIGHER GROUND CAFE REVIEWS

This cafe is almost ALWAYS jam packed with people. In theory it's a great place to hunker down and get work done but it can be really hard to find a free table, and when it's packed it gets quite loud. I usually just take something to go. My favourite drinks are the snow dragon latte (it's a tea latte) and thr matcha latte. I tried their hot chocolate entry for hot chocolate fest this year and it was tasty and interesting-a mix of sweet and salty with the maple and bacon bits.

The latte tastes great and is reasonably priced. They use organic coffee and tea. Baked goods are also tasty, the red velvet cake is a bit too sweet for me but still good. Great music, great vibe, great service. I would definitely come back during Christmas for the fireplace!

I love coming here to study! Such a chill, calming, and friendly environment to be in. Always amazing service and delicious food! Their cafe rolo is a must try.

ANALOG COFFEE REVIEWS

Analog has successfully created and upheld their reputation as the best coffee shop in Calgary. Consistently great tasting coffee and a lovely atmosphere. The service is always friendly. My only issue is that their almond croissants are sometimes overdone, but that is not the fault of Analog—they get their baked goods from another local business.

Absolutely delicious coffee! Had a great flavour and strength to it! Extremely fresh, friendly service and really cool location and cafe! Didn’t get any of the baked goods.. but I regret it as they also looked amazing.

I visited this cafe because I've been wanting to go for a while. The coffee was great, and the atmosphere was wonderful.

This place is INCREDIBLE! I stopped in for a glass of wine while I was waiting for my wife at the dentist. The atmosphere was so nice and the menu looked great so we just had to go back for lunch. The steak sandwich was as perfect and packed with flavor, the mussels were to die for. The salmon was cooked perfectly and the salad was fresh and crisp. Definitely exceeded expectations! The wine and beer selections were excellent as well. I can’t recommend this place enough. If you’re in the area this place is a must try.

Great cafe to go to if you need good food, good drinks (alcohol included), and are in the downtown Calgary area! The pasta rose (and other pasta options, which my friends had) were solid options we had for dinner while doing some work. We also saw some flyers for the Jazz Saturday’s which we would definitely go back for ! Also love that this place is open till pretty late so if you need a place to work after a late shift, I would recommend going here.

Kawa Espresso Bar is a fantastic spot in Calgary! They offer a delicious mix of European and international cuisine, along with amazing coffee, cocktails, and desserts. Open late and serving alcohol, it's the perfect place to relax any time of day. The atmosphere is great, and the customer service is top-notch—friendly, attentive, and always welcoming. Highly recommend for a quality dining and drinking experience.
