A Calgary classic for a good reason. Even though I've lived in my Calgary my whole life and grew up eating their sausages I've never actually had the lunch here. Ordered the Spolumbo's special which was amazing. The bread was warm, the meat was thick and the vegetables were all fresh. Will be coming back for sure!

Right in Calgary’s Inglewood area, this spot is a true gem for sandwich lovers. The meatball sub is an absolute standout and easily my favorite. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the warm and welcoming staff, they make every visit feel like a treat. Whether you’re craving a hearty sandwich or a flavorful pasta salad, this place has you covered. Trust me, it’s a must-visit destination for anyone seeking delicious eats in Calgary.​

Truly a Calgary institution, Spolumbo’s is an amazing sandwich. It has such a warm inviting sports atmosphere with paraphernalia covering all of the walls. The service at the counter was very efficient and super friendly. The best part is that the food holds up on its own, the Ruben is my favorite, but their sausages are amazing as well.

I recently visited this restaurant with my girlfriend, family, and friends, who were eager to introduce us to what they hailed as the best burgers in town – and they did not disappoint. With an award-winning reputation preceding them, the burgers lived up to the hype, boasting a divine taste crafted from fresh, quality ingredients. The accompanying basket of fries was equally impressive, boasting a delightful crispiness that complemented the main course perfectly. Our waitress deserves commendation for her exceptional service; despite our sizable group, she remained attentive and professional throughout, ensuring a seamless dining experience. The restaurant's unique flavors pleasantly surprised me, adding an extra layer of delight to an already memorable meal. For anyone in downtown Yyc, this spot comes highly recommended.

It’s rare I feel I can rate five stars on all fronts. Alumni ticks all the boxes. Waitress was incredibly friendly and fun to talk to. The sandwiches are so flavourful and thought out. The attention to detail in the seasonings and toppings are incredible. Way beyond your standard sandwich shop. They could honestly charge more. The portion is massive as well. One sandwich felt more like two. The parm fries were so yummy. Highly recommend doing a side of pickles and eating the pickles with the fries and the aioli sauce. Building was clean and inviting.

We came here as a recommendation and they didn't disappoint. The goucha Sandwich and the Chorizo torta were great!! The Fries were the Star of the show definitely will order them again.The service was excellent. We are going to go back here!

Best banh mi I've ever had and it's not even close. Everything about their sandwiches is amazing - bread, meat, pate, salad, all of it is delicious. And for less than $10! Only problem is the queue at lunch time, which can be anywhere from 0-40 mins+. Call ahead to order and/or see if they are busy.

The best satay beef viet subs in Calgary. I've tried a bunch of places (my tho, Saigon deli, Nhu Y, etc) and this is still my fave. There's almost always a line, and it can be a bit of a wait sometimes, but it's worth it.

One of the best Banh Mi! I had the assorted and it was perfect. Light, fresh, clean and best eaten immediately while warm. Friendly crew too.
