3 Best Cakes in Gatineau, QC

I'm told their cakes are delicious and they can make them for any occasion and in any design you choose ... but today, it was my first visit and I had the zaatar croissant, halewit el jeben, the mafrookeh and their kunafa in the kaaki. Every item was exceptional. They make the best kunafa in the NCR, and the other desserts we tried were also very decadent and rich in flavors. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the authenticity of the recipes in every bite. Pâtisserie L'Étoile is definitely a hidden gem for us who live in the west end of Ottawa ... it's definitely worth the drive across the bridge to Gatineau.

The cakes are absolutely delicious. I live far away and have only ever ordered via UberEats because of the distance, but man is it worth it! I've ordered from here on three separate occasions and each time the cakes have been a hit. People are always asking me where the cakes are from because they are that good! The frosting is light and doesn't make you feel sick afterward. I've also tried their unique croissants, which were also good. I am a happy customer who will definitely be returning again.

Wow, the best bakery in Canada. My daughter is 3 years old and since she was born we ordered her birthday cake here . Very delicious cake, is very high quality, has excellent customer service, and honestly, the best price . I live in Kanata and drive to this bakery because I know everyone will love my cake.

Pastel & Coco is hands-down my favorite bakery ever! They really showcase that vegan food does not equal boring food. There's always a wide selection of sweet and savory items, including many seasonal desserts. My go-to is the tiramisu (original or matcha-flavored). The staff are super friendly, the vibe and ambiance is very chill and modern. They're located right next to Astoria, an amazing vegan restaurant. You must check out this place if you're in Ottawa/Gatineau!

Great selection of vegan cakes, pastries and sandwiches, many of which are also gluten free. We had an almond croissant and banana bread and both were delicious. We loved the coffee here too! Highly recommend.

Our little one is allergic to eggs, and we decided last minute we needed a cake. We were so lucky to have come across this bakery. The entire family LOVED the strawberry and citrus cake. Amazing! And a A+ for the choc chip cookie too.
