3 Best Chinese Restaurants in Burnaby, BC

If you're looking for some delicious dim sum, Lee Garden Seafood Restaurant is the place to go. They have a ton of different options, and the food is definitely more flavorful and tasty than what you'll find at the Coquitlam location. However, parking is very limited, and the staff can be a bit difficult to get attention from (typical of Chinese restaurants). It can also get quite loud during rush hour. Overall, I would recommend coming here for the dim sum.

Parking is a bit chaotic, people double parking, spots are tight. Food quality was excellent, everything was delicious. Rice was spelled wrong on the menu "Rich" Food came about 15 mins after we ordered. They should tell people to pay upfront as it took a long time to settle the bill.

The staff here are very friendly. The price is slightly higher than other places but the quality of the food is definitely worth it. The dimsum is amazing and so is the dinner here. Comes highly recommended!

Burnaby Palace is a nice hidden treasure situated on Boundary Road a block north of Canada Way. Their consistency with presenting solid Chinese cuisines is amazing given how long they have been in business. The restaurant has recently been renovated to look very clean and modern, offering a comfortable atmosphere for patrons. We ordered a number of fried and spicy dishes to try and all of them were exceptionally good. The braised beef was super tender yet flavourful. The fried squid was done just right to have a crunchy outer yet a chewy but tender inner. The green beans were fresh and cooked to perfection. The staff were very attentive to keep our teapot full while checking in periodically to ensure no empty dishes cluttered our table. For this level of service and quality of food, we would have expected much higher prices. Burnaby Palace is a wonderful value and a perfect hidden treasure to discover.

We go there about once a month for date night, also go there for Every family birthday celebration. Food is always fast, hot, delicious. You don't get just one server, All the staff serve you so you rarely have to wait for anything. For birthday parties they provided the knife to cut the cake and even lit all the candles. Best to make reservations, they're always busy. The earlier in the evening the better.

Very nice modern decor and lighting inside which is a break from the norm of Chinese restaurants in the greater Vancouver area. Also have private rooms and an upstairs space for booking events/parties. Great service and easy to read menu items, and food was really good. The manager Wilson was also really good about greeting all the diners and checking on our meal. Will definitely be back!
