3 Best Indian Restaurants in Burnaby, BC

Our first time here, and we chose the dinner combination which included butter chicken, lamb curry, grilled chicken thigh, chickpea, some salad, yogurt, pulao rice and we upgraded to garlic naan at $1. We ended up ordering an extra bowl of pulao rice and it was a full filled meal. The flavors were great. I'm a meat lover but I did enjoy the vegetarian dishes here. Last but not least, you should try their mango Lassi, the best one I've had in town with very strong taste. I've heard they also have a lunch buffet at a great price, I'd be back for that. They also gave us some kind of snack which I'm not sure about the name, fun to chew and a nice breath afterward.

Frequently visited this Indian restaurant. Changed ownership a few times over the last 13 years since we first visited. Good food, good prices, good service. But we are just some boring Indian food eaters, we have only ordered lamb, so can’t give a fair review. However, for the food that we ordered over the years, they were the best we had in town. We got to know the server. Most of time , when we arrived she will seat us in our favorite table by the window. When we ordered Chai, she will Brew a new pot, so it would come out nice and hot. Only one thing for improvement I would suggest for the restaurant to warm their serving plates. I know I am asking for too much. That is just a nice touch.

Delicious food served hot, and in generous portions. food is served with a smile, and takeout bags even come with a note thanking customers for their patronage. Their shahi paneer is perfection.

I absolutely love this place! Their chhole bhature are some of the best I’ve ever had—perfectly fluffy bhature and rich, flavorful chhole. The staff is incredibly friendly and always welcoming. Service is impressively fast, and they never hesitate to accommodate any additional requests. The warm and inviting atmosphere makes the experience even better. If you’re looking for great food with top-notch hospitality, this is the place to go!

It was a great experience dining at this establishment. Samosa chat and vegi pakoras were outstanding. Butter chicken tasted fresh, aromatic and chicken pieces were tender and delicious. A very kind and pleasant young lady “Sunita” was our server. She made the whole experience much more enjoyable and memorable. I strongly recommend this place.
