The service and treatment in every aspect has been the best veterinary care I’ve ever experienced. From the after hours emergency call to an additional long-distance consultation, we received excellent care for our dog’s urgent care. The reception staff were very helpful, caring and organized. I felt the Dr. asked questions and listened and gave us very reasonable options for our situation. This is the first time ever I felt like the financial aspect was also taken into consideration by a clinic. I cannot say enough good about all of the staff and highly recommend this clinic. Well worth the long-distance drive.

Cypress View is consistently our go-to vet. We brought my child hood dog there and now my own dog, we've trusted Cypress View Vet for 25 years. The best are knowledgable, compassionate and patient with my questions. I never feel rushed or unheard. Also, my dog LOVES coming to the vet which tells me he feels loved there too!.

Dr Mason and the entire staff through a difficult time with one of our cats with the utmost respect. Would highly recommend going here.

I want to sincerely thank each and every one of the staff at Horizon for the exceptional care you showed my cat Gump and for the kindness you showed me throughout such a difficult time. The decision to perform the surgery on him was not an easy one, but they all made the process—from understanding the situation, to making the decision, to the procedure and aftercare—feel calm, compassionate, and incredibly supportive. Please know how deeply grateful I am for the work you do every day. You help pet owners navigate some of the hardest decisions we’ll ever make for our furry, scaly, bumpy, and even slimy family members. What you do truly matters, and you deserve daily affirmation for the care, skill, and empathy you bring to both animals and the people who love them. Anyone looking to receive the best of care for their loved ones needs to consider Horizon as the best in Medicine Hat.

Recently took our pet there to be neutered by Dr. Brandt. Check in by the front staff was quick and easy. The surgery was well done by Dr. Brandt and the incision on our pet is hardly noticeable. Highly recommend their service.

Excellent care of my Sheltie who has had health issues in the past which have been addressed. Finlay is doing extremely well at the age of 9 1/2. We are so pleased.

Absolutely amazing people that work here. I have unfortunately had too many experiences this year with my dogs and emergency visits. They have taken such good care of my furr babies and have worked with me on the cost. I wouldn't take my dogs anywhere else. Love love love them.

My shitzu Rascal was very well taken care of. Jade was kind, gentle and educated. She answered almost all my questions before I even had to ask them. She took time to go through and find the right treat for my pup and didn’t make me feel rushed at all. She presented me with all my options and didn’t push a whole bunch of expensive tests. She recommended what she thought was best for rascal and let me decide with no judgment. Rascal was ok with Jade examining him and I could tell he also trusted her. Thank you Jade you gave me back my fun, playful, happy doggo. He’s doing great, not even overly upset over the changes in treats or food.

Sarah at reception was amazing to speak with while trying to sort out vaccinations after moving into province. So helpful! And upon arriving for vaccinations—process for checkin smooth and easy. Dr. Dooley was phenomenal—pleasant, caring, and informative. It’s Obvious that everyone cares deeply for the animals under their care. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
