WEST PLAINS BISTRO REVIEWS
I went with my husband and daughter on Saturday evening and I'm so happy we did! The atmosphere was warm, inviting yet cool and sophisticated. The gentleman who greeted us was really funny and nice, as were both of our lovely waitresses. The food was outstanding. We started with the crab cakes and warm olives...amazing. our daughter loved it all...even the frisee. We had the lamb shank and the beef bourguignon. The food was incredible. The coconut cream pie was just.... jeeze a loo. Can't wait to come back.
I’ve driven by this restaurant many times and never thought much of it. I decided to celebrate a special occasion here last evening on the recommendation of a friend. The food was spectacular! I had the Beef Bourguignon and it was delicious. This place is a hidden gem. The food is fabulous and I highly recommend it. Service was great too!
Great atmosphere! Staff was friendly, the food was perfect and the place was impeccable. Cozy vibe- but doesn't feel crowed. Will definitely visit again!

SAVING THYME REVIEWS
Loved this place!! Had brunch here and the eggs Benny with bacon was delicious! They also have a bunch of pastries, croissants, mini cakes and so much more! I will definitely be going back. Our server was really nice too and helped recommend some popular items for us to consider trying. If you can, try to go to the back room and find a spot there. The booths are so cute with a nice outdoor garden feel with the lattice decor and all.
One of the cutest bistros I've been to especially outside of Toronto. The staff are friendly and the food is delicious. Our food tasted super fresh and there was quite a selection of pastries and baked goods. I really liked the savoury paris-brest.. it was like a lighter version of bagel and lox and there was a freshness to it! Would definitely come here again if I were in the area.
Really cute neighborhood spot with a very sweet staff. The food here is super healthy, fresh, and has a home cooked feel. You can buy prepared meals which is fantastic I tried the chicken which was very good. I've been coming here quite a bit lately - today I was having a bad day with my truck breaking down and the lady who served me noticed and put a couple of cookies in my order to my surprise. I really appreciated that thoughtful gesture. Definitely a go-to place for breakfast and lunch in Burlington.

DOWNTOWN BISTRO & GRILL REVIEWS
Discovered this fabulous restaurant by walking around Burlington downtown, observing ambience, seating and menus at various restaurants. Received glowing review by patrons who had just dined. The culinary experience exceeded all expectations. Diverse well-thought out wine offerings that complimented the menu. Welcoming, experienced host and wait staff. The lightly bread calamari were perfect; tender and paired with red pepper alioli. Chose the Louisiana Cajun Blackened chicken with shrimp linguini, seasoned with a fragrant palate-pleasing herded sauce. It came steamy hot, and graciously the chef subbed mushrooms for the red bell peppers as my friend had a night shade sensitivity. The flourless chocolate torte was light, creamy and presented like a work of art. Generous portions. Environmentally friendly take home cartons for leftovers. No deliveries. Takeout is an option. Recommend reservations for special occasions as the popularity of the restaurant will continue to climb! The chef uses many locally sourced ingredients, another bonus for eating there.
Had an excellent meal here with appetizers. We shared the charcuterie board and grilled calamari. Both we're excellent, squid not chewy and cooked to perfection. I had the braised beef short rib dinner, also excellent. Service staff was on point and friendly. Cost was very fair I'd say. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place for a nice dinner in a cozy atmosphere.
I was expecting the kinda typical pub-grub food but was pleasantly surprised and the taste and quality of our meal. Prices were reasonable and portions were decent. Staff was great and did not rush us at all. We were lucky to get one of the few seats on the patio and the restaurant is on a quiet-ish street, so it was really enjoyable. Highly recommend.
