The pair has cooked in some of the best Michelin-starred restaurants, training under notable chefs such as Marco Pierre White, Gordon Ramsay, and Gary Hollihead. The restaurant is vegetarian-friendly and has vegan and gluten-free options. They have featured lunch and dinner. They also accept credit cards. They are open for lunch during the summer and in December.”

5 STAR ALL THE WAY!!! Myself, family and friends have been enjoying this small/quaint bistro in Burlington, ON for years now. Was just there again last night. Had the pleasure of meeting the new owners....wonderful couple. They have made a few subtle changes to the decor which has only enhanced the already warm, bistro ambiance. The cuisine is consistently delicious, and the servers friendly and efficient. Always a great dining experience. I highly recommend trying West Plains Bisto if you have not already.

Charming Bistro, with warm atmosphere, great food and friendly service. I had the pasta special of the day, Mushroom Ravioli. It was fabulous. Rich puréed mushroom sauce with chorizo and delicious mushroom filled ravioli. Waldorf salad looked (and tasted) great, and fabulous dessert menu. Nice wine list. Reservations recommended as it’s busy - no wonder!

Delicious food with very friendly service. My friend and I felt right at home here and yet it was our first time dining! Cute little spot with great variety!

SAVING THYME REVIEWS

A cute French-style bistro located on Appleby in Burlington. A moderate amount of indoor seating is available including tables and booths. The atmosphere is very bright and cheerful. The staff were attentive and friendly as well. The food was delicious - I would highly recommend any of their croissant sandwiches. The croissants are so fresh and handmade in house - flaky and buttery. The ordering system was also unique in that everything is done on your phone (ordering and payment). Will be coming back again to try their pastries and desserts!

Had an amazing experience here. Everything is so pretty. From the decor to the look of the baked goods, it was perfect. Everything was super delicious and super quick. I cannot wait to be back to try a full breakfast. We tried few things; almond croissant and cheddar scone for myself and leek pastry and croissant for my friend. Sven got a jumbo macaroon to go because it was so delicious and pretty. Wheelchair accessibility: I use a walker and had no issue. I folded it and placed it on the side. Handicap parking available right out front.

Food was great, place was neat and clean. Place is always busy! Strongly recommend to visit around 11am before it gets packed.

QUATREFOIL RESTAURANT REVIEWS

We came to Quatrefoil for a special anniversary lunch and were thoroughly impressed. Everything was exceptional, from the atmosphere to the service and especially the food. I had the grilled Humboldt squid to start, followed by the Brome Lake confit duck leg, and finished with the Pavlova for dessert. Each course was beautifully prepared and full of flavour. The service was attentive without being intrusive, and the setting was perfect for a quiet, refined and romantic date. Highly recommended for a memorable dining experience.

Came for a three course Valentine’s Day weekend dinner. The service was excellent and the server was able to explain the drinks and food options. All the flavours were exceptional for all the dishes. The ambiance was very cozy with candles. I would highly recommend Quatrefoil. The whole experience was well worth the price.

Amazing experience dining here for our anniversary. The patio atmosphere is lovely. The scallops and beef were the best we’d ever had. Definitely will be back for celebrations.
