First time visiting the french! We went here for a casual anniversary dinner and were not disappointed! Our server Kate was great, she checked on us a few times and we felt well taken care of. One gesture I loved was that they automatically split our salad appetizer in half on two plates! Very convenient. The house salad was amazing! Soooo was the crème brûlée! We ordered the dinner special which was a Halibut dish. The dish was very oily, and some kind of oil was flowing around the dish. I don’t think the dish was worth its $45 price. The fish was well cooked, but the portion was small. Steak was awesome. The atmosphere was also romantic. Overall, would recommend.

What a great find in Hamilton! A friend told us about it and it was fantastic. The food was delicious, carefully prepared, a variety of flavours that went so well, a very knowledgeable server on Maddie (hope I got her name right). Overall, a 6 stars out 5. We will definitely return when we are in Hamilton in June for our son's graduation. This restaurant is worth it.

Went there with friends and we all were surprised (in a good way) about the place. High level up scale restaurant. The environment and food are amazing. Very convenient for a conversation. Service was excellent and with attention to details. Very impressed. Next time visiting friends in Canada, will have to be back there.

HANDSOME DAVE’S NEIGHBOURHOOD BAR REVIEWS

Went for Mother's Day for the first time and was blown away! The seasonal pasta was absolutely delicious. Fresh vegetables, amazing flavours! The burrata cheese on top was heavenly. My mom ordered the trout dish and was so impressed! We also got the charcuterie board which they omitted the meat for us upon request and gave us a stunning array of cheese, fruit and dips. The complimentary salad we received so good too. Staff were so down to earth and informative about the menu. Perfect date night spot/special occasion!

One of my best restaurant experiences of all time, honestly. Wandered in with three friends after being disappointed by another nearby restaurant, discovered it was happy hour and all got 10$ New York sours! We split a few different dishes and everything was delicious — the butternut squash sage pappardelle was especially life-changing (it was the daily pasta).

Atmosphere is amazing. I love the dimmed lights & light pieces on the dinner tables. Staff are amazing & kind. The beet salad and steak & frites are great.

Hands down best food and experience I’ve had in recent memory, in Hamilton and surrounding area… beyond. Kendall is out of this world. Everyone that was part of our night sitting at the bar, watching gorgeous, intentional food be prepared and served with genuine love and passion made for an incredible experience. Recommendations all on point. Ambiance was perfect. I didn’t want to leave! My tastebuds were mindfucked in the best way. Le Tambour - bravo is not sufficient. I’d volunteer yo wash dishes just to be part of this vibe. Exceptional. 15/10.

I honestly can’t remember a better dinner out in Hamilton. This is our new favourite restaurant. The space is so nice, the staff were all incredible, we had dinner in the kitchen and watched Ian building dinners all night, our server was amazing and the food truly wonderful. I’d give them 6-stars if I could. We’ll be back - soon!

What a lovely place to be! Service and ambiance was warm and welcoming. Food was fresh and delicious. The crab was wonderful and fun to eat. A great addition to the neighborhood.
