3 Best Vegetarian Restaurants in Hamilton, ON

My all time favourite restaurant. I have never had something I didn't love. Every time I go I spend the whole drive from Guelph deciding what to order, because everything on the menu looks so good. I've tried all the loaded fries, the anti-warrior bowl and burrito, crunch wrap, dilly mac and cheese, pizza rolls (I get this every time because it's a fave)...etc! I also indulge in milkshakes (because where else can you get a funfetti VEGAN milkshake??) and ice cream/cupcakes/cookies. Every time I go I load up on treats to take home. Truly this is my favourite restaurant of all time.

I love the assortment of vegan junk food offerings. I wish I could try more of them, but this was a drive-past situation. The Anti warrior bowl was a generous helping of hamburger-helper-style mac n cheese liberally sprinkled with crispy toppings and fresh tomatoes. The deco and ambiance inside was fun, relaxed, and nostalgic; I grew up on the Simpsons so it was cool to see the assortment of games they had.

To be honest I'm not vegan at all but this is by far my most favourite spot to go to and either dine alone or with friends! Very queer friendly staff usually when I'm here it's Kenny and Marissa serving and they're sooo nice and the coffee is also soo good! Such a great staple in Hamilton the staff treat everyone so kindly and with respect. The music played is a wide range of new wave to punk to italo disco as well as music made by local musician's! There's posters and flyers as well for local events on in the city and they've got community trivia nights and drag shows time to time! Really love the whole local aspect here supporting others and jusf the overall vibe is sooo good. Food is just spectacular and fills me up everytime.

Pizza has never sat well with me. But there has been a few that really stand out and keep the tummy demons at bay. These vegan pies so so amazing and do not affect me at all. It was a great surprise and for a vegan pizza place. You truly love to see it. Love the unique variety. I recommend the Big Bang pie, especially for those onion ring lovers out there. Great music, is always a vibe. Bar seating is in my opinion BEST spot in the house especially if you’re going to accompany your pie with a nice drink, Must try.

My friend and I went for pizza and wings a couple weeks ago and all I have to say is OH…MY…GOD. I don’t know why I put off going to this restaurant for so long because I simply regretted it. My friend ordered the pepperoni and I ordered the meat lovers. The toppings were generous. The crust was phenomenal, and the sauce was delicious. If you’ve ever been to Rise Above in St Catharine’s and order the wings there, let me tell you they are just the same if not better.

The Killer Pineapples from Outer Space pizza is my go to and always so satisfying. It’s indistinguishable from actual meat pizza minus the greasiness. I ask for loaded and well done which they always follow on delivery order. The seitan wings are also solid but do feel like a meat alternative that they are. The sesame garlic sauce is fantastic and ghost pepper has real kick to it (ask on side). The best vegan pizza & wings store ever!.
