Glenwood took care of all the arrangements for the cremation and celebration of life for my wonderful father Rob McCaskill. We lost him suddenly and far too soon, and the entire staff of Glenwood treated my entire family with such respect, care and attention to detail. We dealt mostly with Chantelle and Nichole–both of them were extremely empathetic, warm and welcoming to us at a time when my family was extremely vulnerable. My dad's service was exceptional and went off with out a hitch. The food was wonderful and all of the other staff was so helpful in getting our keepsakes on display. I will recommend Glenwood to anyone who finds themselves in this terrible situation because they will take care of your family with the utmost respect and care. I look forward to visiting my dad's resting spot in the summer when everything is green. Thank you for making this process as easy as it could be, we are eternally grateful.

First of all, a beautiful, peaceful setting. Staff very helpful and make the whole process as easy as possible. We had arranged a short burial service because of COVID and invited only a few people. It was a rainy day, so the staff thoughtfully suggested doing the bulk of the service in the chapel. I had to identify my dad before burial and was so happy at how good he looked! My sister and I were prepared to stand in as pallbearers if necessary but a couple of the staff stepped in without being asked. Can’t thank them enough for all that was done under sad circumstances.

Nichole is absolutely fabulous. A true listener, attentive to detail and exudes professionalism. She is very compassionate and caring, whether it be towards a family member, friend or complete stranger. I would highly recommed her.

I can't thank Park place Funeral Home enough for their compassion and professionalism during such a difficult time. From the moment we walked through their doors, the staff went above and beyond to provide comfort and support. The attention to detail in arranging the service and the genuine care they showed to our family was exceptional. They made a challenging experience more bearable, and we are truly grateful for their kindness. Highly recommend their services during such sensitive moments.

I recently attended a funeral event for a close friend and was pleased with the way everything was handled. The event was organized by this funeral home and they did a great job. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and they made sure to follow all of the necessary protocol to ensure a respectful and dignified service.

Madam Satvir and team helped in performing all the procedures and rituals with very caring and professional manner. Very professional, respectful, nice and compassionate people. Every single staff member made sure that everything went according to our cultural rituals. I would like to thank the entire team. Well I found me a Death Lady and she was fantastic. Bonnie has just the right blend to guide a family through difficult end of life conversations. She was able to keep a room full of strong personalities all in line with honour and respect so that we could hear one another and I could be assured that my husband and my own wishes planned and agreed upon. We lovingly call her the Death Lady but really Bonnie is full of life, passion, and wisdom. Thank you Bonnie. I feel at peace knowing that my wishes will be done.

Bonnie from Pine Box Funerals is the best! This past Christmas, Bonnie was so thoughtful as to drop by to see how we were doing as it was going to be the first Christmas without my Mom! I have never heard of any Funeral home providing that kind of after death care! It was so kind and thoughtful...and that is who Bonnie is!!.
