“Dr. John Thiel is a Clinical Professor in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Saskatchewan. He obtained his BSc (1983), MSc (1986), and MD (1991) from the University of Saskatchewan and completed his Royal College Fellowship in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1996. Dr. John Thiel is the director of the postgraduate fellowship program in Minimally Invasive Gynecology at the University of Saskatchewan. Dr. Thiel has been honoured with both the CREOG and APGO Excellence in Teaching Awards for resident teaching and the 2010 Golden Hysteroscope award for best hysteroscopy paper at the 39th Global Congress of Minimally Invasive Surgery.

2025 Update: He is the Executive Director of the Canadian Society for the Advancement of Gynecologic Excellence (CanSAGE).”

Doctor Kamencic is the best doctor I have ever had. He is very kind, compassionate, knowledgeable and very experienced. He has a beautiful soul. He loves and cares about his patients and he truly wants to help them the best he can. He is punctual even though he never rushes his patients. Office visiting has always been a good experience. He brings his patients hope and makes them feel better. All the best to him.

Dr. Kamencic is one of the best doctors I've ever had. He listened and came up with an action plan and from start to finish he was kind and professional. Surgery was a success and I feel better then I have in years. He is always on time for appointments. Highly recommend.

He is best doctor, was my First time experience with him, was so worried about my c-section, but when I knew it who is going to do my c-section, I totally satisfy for his best work. Nice nature, nice person.... God bless him. - PS

Dr. Rattray is easily one of the best doctors I've ever been to. My husband and myself have been trying to concieve for many years. I finally reached out to my doctor who referred me to Dr. Rattray. I have always had weight problems and he approached the issue directly and as sensitively as possible. He was honest but willing to help, and gave us a lot of great information and options. I appreciated his demeanor and felt like he truly cared about what my husband and I had to share and we will soon have a plan of action. I could not be more appreciative of him. His staff were also absolutely wonderful and helpful. Everyone was really friendly and kind.

Dr. Rattray is the best! He delivered my daughter via c-section as she was breech. He was extremely kind, personable, and knowledgeable. He made you feel very comfortable and took the time to build a relationship with you. His bedside manner was phenomenal and it was an amazing experience. I couldn’t have asked for a better doctor. Highly recommend!!

Dr. Rattray is an excellent physician. He explains thoroughly and makes one feel comfortable. He is an incredibly intelligent, kind and caring man. He provided me a course of options to think about and try, prior to deciding on surgery. The office staff is very good and accommodating. Thanks again!

Dr thiel is one of the best practicing obgyns I have ever been to. I had a very complicated birth and had severe trauma with drs afterwards. I had a panic attack going to get an iud in a few months later because I was supposed to be with dr carter and everything was changed up because of a storm and he was standing in for her. He came in to talk to me before the procedure and made sure I was comfortable the entire time going and and coming out for it. He is one of the very few drs who has actually taken the time to listen and dive into my health issues and actually diagnosed me with pcos, and helped me find things that will work for me with it after all that as well. His office is always on time, and the ladies at the desk are very patient with customers, kind, and efficient. He listens, he’s very compassionate, and I wouldn’t suggest any one else.

Amazing doctor. Very kind and knowledgeable. The other staff love him. That tells you a lot. Able to help me when I don’t think other doctors could have. I’m so happy with my surgery he had done. The care I recieved from the Regina General Hospital.

Best doctor I've ever go to, always on time, very knowledgeable, and I know that he is truly listening to me. Highly highly recommend
