3 Best Hair Salons in Whitby, ON

New in the neighborhood and was looking for a stylist when I came across 5one7 salon. I booked my first appointment with Grace, it was very last minute and let me tell you, I do not regret it all. Grace did a phenomenal job with my hair cut and gave me gorgeous highlights. Grace is confident, she knows what she is doing and good vibes all around. Bonus was great head massage and free coffee courtesy of Andre (the owner). My 11 month old and his nanny accompanied me as well and the the staff at the salon were extremely kind to them. I will definitely go back.

Amazing service! Had Gabriel cut my hair. Strict attention to detail. He took a style from a picture and made it better according to my hair type. Very knowledgeable in his art. The place is clean. Staff is very friendly. Highly recommend Gabriel!

Andre is a master of his craft, not only does he cut men’s hair he also cuts woman’s hair. All the years I’ve been going to him, I’ve never seen a customer leave disappointed. Keep up the great work habibi

I found myself in a real pinch this past weekend. My daughters and I had our hair color appointments scheduled at a top salon in Whitby, where I had not only been a client for over 30 years but a retired colourist.. Somehow my appointment got deleted and we had an upcoming family event. I decided to call Andre and his team at 5ONE7 Hair House, in the remote chance that they would have an opening. Andre not only took my appointment, which ran after salon hours, on a Friday and into their photo shoot! They still took the time necessary to give me THE BEST COLOUR SERVICE EVER! Being a first time guest, I wasn’t sure what to expect. As soon as you pass through the door you’re treated like gold! Such a great, positive vibe between the stylists and thief guests, as well as guests and guests!!! I just can’t rave enough about the salon and artists!!!! I had a great experience today at Great Clips thanks to Angela! She was friendly, professional, and took the time to understand exactly what I wanted. The haircut turned out perfect—I’m very happy with the results! The salon itself was clean, comfortable, and had a welcoming atmosphere. The staff were all courteous, and the service was quick without feeling rushed. I’ll definitely be coming back and asking for Angela again. Highly recommend her for anyone looking for a great haircut!
