“Kiwanis Heydenshore Park contains a lakeside green space with a beach, playground & splash pad, plus outdoor exercise equipment. The park has walking or bike trails, picnic tables, and multiple park benches scattered throughout the surrounding park. This park is surrounded by multiple rock climbing surfaces and a rope course for creative climbing for children. The pavilion hall is perfect for any special event, people gatherings, dinner or dance, and a theatre-style seating event. Kiwanis Heydenshore Park is a very peaceful spot for relaxing and enjoying a beach picnic. The park has a lot of free parking spaces.

“Rotary Sunrise Lake Park is a great park where you can see an amazing beach and enjoy a peaceful time with your friends and family. If you like watersports and they have your equipment, you could get started the day at this beach park. This is also a good spot for kayaking. Rotary Sunrise Lake Park is a public park. There are a couple of benches where you can sit, relax and enjoy the view of the beach and harbour. In this park, a free parking facility is available over the weekend and on weekdays. This park is also a great spot for kids of all age groups. Rotary Sunrise Lake Park has a beautiful view in a clean place.”

“Baycliffe Park is the perfect place for family get-togethers and recreational sports. It is an excellent themed playground for kids. The park has two infant swings, two toddler slides, multiple spinners, climbing rocks, one teeter rocker, one balance beam, and one rock wall. The park also has a splash pad where children enjoy a pleasant time. Visit this park and enjoy your valuable time with your family. Baycliffe Park has ADA access. In this park, there are basketball facilities. The park is well-maintained and has lots of things for kids and adults to do. Baycliffe Park features a fun rocket ship-themed play area, splash pad, and soccer field.”

KIWANIS HEYDENSHORE PARK REVIEWS

Great park for family and little ones.Too many huge tree providing shade during the hot summer.The beach and the lighthouse just adds up to the beauty.A cool breeze would be always blowing accross the park. Its also well mantained by the Whitby Muncipality.Every couple of hour couple or so couple of guys would come in a golf cart and clean the trash.Would definitely recommend the park. Restrooms: Could be better.

Very nice lake view park for families and specially kids. Playground: Kids splash pads and swings rides everything is here with ample parking options. Picnic area: You can enjoy the beach and have family picnics here.

Very clean and family friendly place. Wish the roofed area is expanded to accommodate for the increasing numbers.

ROTARY SUNRISE LAKE PARK REVIEWS

The scenery was so nice. Perhaps because the boundary between the sky and the lake seemed to be one, it felt like the lake stretched out endlessly. I also felt regretful, wondering why I had come now.

It was an amazing little park. Lots of kms to walk and great views of the lake. When we went it was a little crepy as fog took over the views. An extraordinary views of the lake.

Nice clean park with picnic tables and benches and porta potty, which is better than nothing;⁠).

BAYCLIFFE PARK REVIEWS

This park has never failed to impress my kids and their friends. Playground: Large playground, lots of things to do, splash pad and lots of shade. Unfortunately the ice cream trucks know how popular the park is so get ready for that conversation. Restrooms: Just a couple port a pottires currently. Dog-friendliness: Large soccer field next to park with path.

I used to bring my daughter here all the time. It’s a nice park to take kids. There a big field. A trail and a basketball court. Playground: There is a fun playground there. It’s a rocket ship theme. Dog-friendliness: Lots of open spaces for dogs.

Well laid out park entertainment for little guys as well as bigger ones. The splash park in summer is spacious and so much fun.
