Great place to spend a week camping, or an afternoon enjoying sun and fun at their 1.25-acre swimming pool - Grass trails along the riverbank and through natural areas offer a chance for wildlife viewing inside the park

Mon - Sun 8:00 am - 11:00 pm

I love Brant Park! I have been camping there for a few years now. I recommend taking a drive through the park to choose a campsite--do not select a site by simply looking at the site map; some sites are more private than others, while others may be in a high traffic area (i.e. washroom area). There are trails, but I prefer to be on the river in a canoe or in the river walking. The river is old and meandering, has many different fishing holes, numerous varieties of birds and beautiful scenery

Runs 14 kilometres (9 miles) between Paris and Brantford - 9.8 mile loop trail - The trail is finished with stone dust and has some steep hills

This was my go-to practice trail for the Camino Portugues. I started my training early in the spring till late in the summer. There are many places to access the SC Johnson trail, but I always use the trail head located at the end of Powerline Road, close to Roofmart or Earl Haig Park. In the spring, one can see all sorts of flora coming up from the marshes, hear the birds singing, and breathe in the cool air.

Great walking trails with dogs and/or family - The park is relatively clean and offers a variety of trails

All park trails are good for walking or cycling. Sitting in the clear Grand River bank is a balm. There are banks in several parts of the tracks. There is an area for barbecues. cellular signal throughout the park.
