Albion Hills Conservation Park is a sprawling riverfront park featuring camping, mountain biking, a seasonal pool, and picnic tables. The park has nature trails for hiking and mountain biking, and family-friendly facilities, including a swimming pool and splash area. The park has lovely, wide-open areas with a long, meandering walking/biking path next to the lake with over 50 kilometres of double-track and technical single-track trails. The park offers many natural amenities and lush green spaces, perfect for kids to explore and get active. The park has group camping facilities. Free Wi-Fi at the snack bar and around the pool deck, and friendly staff are available at the entrance gatehouse.

2025 Update: You can get a Conservation Parks family membership, which includes free general admission to Albion Hills and other locations, along with a host of discounts and savings. Albion Hills Conservation Park is situated on 538.5 hectares of beautiful forest in the hills of Caledon. The park has a bike wash station and a full-service campground and parking. It has showers and washroom facilities.

Forks of the Credit Provincial Park is part of the Ontario Parks system and the Niagara Escarpment biosphere. The park is used by residents and visitors who enjoy scenic views and engage in recreational activities in the open spaces. The park has a multi-use trail for walking, jogging, cycling, and in-line skating. The Credit River runs through the park, which offers incredible views. The trail is very well marked, with a sign at the beginning indicating which trail to follow to reach the falls. Forks of the Credit Provincial Park provides winter activities like cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. Picnic tables are available during the spring, summer, and fall seasons. This park is excellent for hiking and picnicking with family and friends. Forks of the Credit Provincial Park's natural surroundings are very soothing and relaxing. Dogs are allowed but must be kept leashed.

2025 Update: Cheltenham Badlands site is one of Ontario’s geological treasures, formed at the base of an ancient sea about 450 million years ago. Now 36-hectare (91-acre) site is one of the most recognizable and visited natural heritage sites. Cheltenham Badlands is a distinctive, iron-rich landscape of shale bedrock eroded over millennia and viewed from marked trails. This trail connects the Bruce Trail to the viewing platform. The route takes you through a young forest habitat full of native trees and shrubs. Bicycles are allowed on the site. There are bike racks available in the parking lot. There is no charge for those who visit on a bicycle or foot. Cheltenham Badlands are in Caledon, Ontario, on the southeast side of Olde Base Line Road, between Creditview and Chinguacousy Roads. The site occupies an area of approximately 0.4 square kilometres and features exposed and highly eroded Queenston shale. Cheltenham Badlands is wheelchair accessible. Portable washrooms are available on Cheltenham Badlands.
