“The Great War Flying Museum is a not-for-profit volunteer organization in Caledon, ON. The museum is registered and authorized to issue tax receipts to all donors. The GWFM started in 1970 when some members of the Brampton Flying Club came together. Their mission is to provide the finest local presentation of World War I aviation history by acquiring, building, maintaining, and flying representations of period aircraft and displaying period artifacts for the education, entertainment, and benefit of their members and the visiting public. The museum also exhibits objects for the members' education, entertainment, and benefit and for the travelling public. The museum displays replicas of WWI airplanes, aviation-related memorabilia, dioramas, and more. The Great War Flying Museum offers children (12 and under) free entry.”
