For cross country skiing enthusiasts, it is a wonderful place with a good range of difficulty, not overly crowded and beautiful track set trails. Price is reasonable. The staff are helpful and friendly and the chalet is small but homey with a nice snack bar that serves a decent chili. Horseshoe valley has definitely gone downhill for cross country skiing; if the conditions at Albion Hills are decent (and often they aren't; check ahead) it beats Horseshoe hands down.
