Since 1926

Park, Hiking, Fishing, Boating, Climbing, Camping, Golf, Mountain Biking, Zoo & Walking

Offer Cherry Brook Zoo in the North section of the park

Monday - Sunday 8:30 am - 7:00 pm

Beautiful park with lots of walking, hiking, and biking trails, swimming spots, campground, and stables for horseback riding, etc. Certainly a place to relax away from the city (within the city). Lots of free parking. I would also recommend the satellite trails by the Cherry Brook Zoo for an alternate, more 'off the beaten path', and slightly less busier trail system.

Nice photo of the cliff face explaining the geology and showing the geological features. Then the nice beach and rocks for collecting. There is great fast food near by. Great spot to spend an afternoon.
