Free admission at the New Brunswick Museum at Market Square in Saint John on Canada Day. My friend and I had visited many times before but we were interested in the new exhibit about nighttime animal behaviours. This was a real crowd pleaser for both adults and children due to it's many interactive components. I have many nighttime critters visiting my property so I was glad to learn about them. We walked through the many permanent displays at the museum.

The prices were discounted for the season which was a great deal. The gravel paths were a bit muddy so appropriate footwear should be considered. I am convinced the Lions wanted to be cuddled. We were able to get so close and the lion was rubbing his face against the fence like he wanted to be petted. We saw the monkeys eating, and all the animals looked so happy. The staff were super friendly and focused on making our experience exceptional. I will be back.

Attended the 2nd in 7 hockey game at this area. This is a smaller arena the seats about 7,000 fans. The arena is newer and very clean with a lot of food and drink options, We saw the Saint John Sea Dogs play the Acadie-Bathurst Titans in the second game of the playoffs. This arena is also used for concerts and other events. It is right in downtown Saint John next to the water. Great location and great arena. We had great seats and they were very comfortable.
