We hired Barrett with Solitaire Home Inspections Ltd for our pre purchase home inspection. I really liked how I was able to request the appointment booking online and he quickly reached out via text to confirm the appointment. He was able to accommodate my quick request and fit me into his schedule without a problem. He was very prepared and organized for the inspection which made the process efficient and seamless. He was thorough and detailed in his inspection process. He took the time to answer my questions and provide me with some information and education on my new home such as the sump pump and heat recovery vent. I appreciated the extra guidance with the systems that were new to me. The report provided was clear, detailed, comprehensive, and organized in a format that was very easy to follow, including great pictures of the home. I feel comfortable that Barrett provided us with the inspection and information we needed to confidently continue with the purchase of our new home.

Barret was fantastic. We’ve had a few home inspections with him, it’s safe to say he’s saved us $100k’s in his findings within homes. On each inspection we walked with him for hours around the house. During that time he shared his knowledge and advice on troubled areas and his recommendations to tackle those. At the end of the inspection he sends you a massive report with lots of photos and very fine details about the home. I wouldn’t use any other home inspector.

We loved the service provided by Derrick. He is a nice and kind guy, he helped us with the house and checking all the details of the house! As first home buyer I was a little nervous but definitely Derrick helped out and with patience explained and walked us through the house and items!
