Their biryanis are slow-cooked in sealed clay pots over a low fire, maximizing and maintaining the taste of each ingredient until it is ready to be served. Their banquet hall can accommodate up to 50 to 200 guests. Dum Pukht Markham also offers outstanding catering services. First, add their Shrimp Curry to your feast, which is made up of Shrimp cooked with a southern charm mustard seeds delicacy tossed in a thin onion sauce, along with the freshness of ginger, giving it a distinctive flavour. Dum Pukht is hands down the best Indian restaurant I've ever been to in Markham! The food was incredible and authentic, every dish we ordered was bursting with unique flavours and cooked to perfection. The staff were so friendly and attentive, walking us through the menu and providing recommendations based on our preference. The Dum-Pukht Biryani is a must-order! Overall, it was an unforgettable dining experience, and I can't wait to go back!

This place is amazing! The service was spectacular, the food was there in less than 5 mins!! That is by far the fastest time I’ve been served in a restaurant! Not to mention, it tasted spectacular! The dessert was also fancy and yummy. The decor was also beautiful!

This place will always be my top recommendation whenever someone asks me for a good restaurant. We had the best dining experience. The food was so amazing and omg the Gulab Jamun was literally cherry on top. Staff is also so sweet.

Had a great experience at Desi Bar and Grill! The atmosphere was vibrant with a nice mix of desi music and a chill bar vibe. The food was absolutely on point—especially the butter chicken and dal makhani. Spice levels were just right, and everything came out fresh and hot. Special shoutout to our waitress, Shruti—she was super friendly, attentive, and made great menu recommendations. She checked in just the right amount and made sure we werent wanting something. Her service really added to the night. Definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking for solid Indian food with a fun bar experience. Must visit!!

Ambiance, food and service was excellent. Awesome vibe for hanging out with friends and family. Shruthi and Pancho were very attentive and every recommendation was perfect for our palate. Can't wait to come again.

Really lovely place. The service was fantastic, with the waiters and waitresses providing recommendations and going out of their way to be helpful. The food was delicious. Try the dhaba chicken curry. Wonderful recipe! And the beef samosas were great: nice and big, with a perfect texture. I'll be going back for sure!

Great dining experience at Ambyian. I’m shocked at the past reviews and have no complaints whatsoever. The food and service were great. Highly recommend the Chicken Tikka, Fish Tikka and Chicken Tikka Masala. Also, one of the few Indian restaurants I’ve been to that actually offer a salad for people accommodating dietary restrictions. 10/10 and will be returning.

Coming to Ambiyan in winter may be a good choice if summer is too busy. Warm and tasty food, elegant vibe, quick response. We liked the volume. Lots of wine choices. Thank Anjan’s work. We had a wonderful dinner.
