3 Best Japanese Restaurants in Markham, ON

I have not came in this place for dine in for a while but I can say service was always on point. Staff are friendly and smiling upon greeting. Food is fresh and good portion. Like click work I normally order the sushi sashimi boat combo medium boat and still find it difficult to finish with the hubby. Friday and weekend highly suggest book for reservation Holidays even more so. If you have 4 + in your party, doing be that person and call to make reservations it would be easier and nicer experience not crowding around the front door as the waiting area is small.

It was so nice and second time been there. The sever was so friendly, and good memories, they already know what I want to order even I haven said it out and remember the allergy food I have, that’s so amazing and so surprised. Really recommend their special roll!!!

Sushi was fresh and so good. We ordered alot! Service was great and we had a private spot with sliding doors, which was really cute!

We visited Fujisan Japanese Restaurant today to celebrate a friend’s birthday and ordered two 4-person set menus. The sets were very generous with a great variety of dishes — more than enough food for everyone. The sashimi was extremely fresh, and the sushi rolls were big and satisfying. The sushi had a very authentic Japanese feel, which we really appreciated. We also upgraded to the fish soup, and it was absolutely worth it — light, fresh, and naturally sweet in flavour. Everyone left the table feeling full and happy. The service was excellent throughout the night. The staff were attentive and thoughtful, especially Michelle. Her service truly stood out and was better than what we experience at many other restaurants. She was friendly, caring, and gave great recommendations on what to order. A wonderful dining experience overall — highly recommended!

First time visiting and it was a pleasant surprise of extravagant ramen noodle display that includes a suggested eating style to best enjoy it. Loved the tempura shrimp, very lightly battered with a delightful fried aroma yet not oily nor heavy. The spider and salmon rolls were wonderfully delicious as well. We appreciated that this all came with a starter salad and miso soup for both of us, wasn't expecting that. Value for the food was decent. Really glad to have discovered this restaurant.

We had so many good food today, fresh sashimi platter, highly recommended the beef short ribs, it was tender and big portion. Excellent service provided by Michelle, she taught us how to eat the ramen in three different ways! love it!
