We had a lovely experience here. Although the restaurant was very busy, they could have benefited from perhaps adding one more server to the floor. It was very busy, for obvious reasons. Very good food, very pleasant staff, but a little bit on the slower side (regarding service) since they had so many tables to tend to. We appreciate the late business hours as we had a long day and wished to go out for some good food. Overall, we enjoyed our experience here. Would recommend .

Matsuyama in is a fantastic spot for late night sushi and Japanese cuisine, offering a delightful dining experience marked by fresh ingredients and authentic flavors. The menu is extensive, featuring a variety of sushi, sashimi, hot dishes, all at reasonable price points. The quality of the food is consistently excellent, with standout items like the sushi rolls and udon. The staff are friendly and efficient, ensuring a pleasant dining atmosphere. Matsuyama always delivers a satisfying meal.

There's a reason why they have been around so long. Quality food at that price point. Kind of dark in there now that they have renovated but that's not why I go!

YUU JAPANESE TAPAS REVIEWS

It was my first time visiting, all I wanted to say they offer a lot of creative and attractive food selections. I like Satay so I gave a try their seasonal special although there were a lot of food I wanted to try. The Satay ramen and another pork ramen in the picture were incredible and big enough! The best thing is their matcha latte is wonderful and huge even it’s less sugar. Will definitely come back and recommend to our friends. Lastly, service was great:)

I think I found my new favourite place in Richmond to eat!!! Absolutely excellent food, service, & atmosphere!!! Will definitely be back to explore this GIANT MENU!!! 10/10.

Very enjoyable food! I wholeheartedly recommend the food, the prices are reasonable, the eating area is clean, and the atmosphere enjoyable. Lots of parking in this strip mall, bathrooms were clean as well.

Omg this place needs a great review and for the love of humanity leave a tip!! So you pay before you sit to keep it efficient and nothing wrong with that me and my family got our meals super quick and tastes did not disappoint!! Please please try this restaurant if your ever around its SOOO WORTH IT! Would have a picture but it was gone so fast!!

We ordered tan tan ramen and chicken karaage. The Service was very organized and polite, staff are friendly:) We loved both chicken karaage and tan tan ramen. Karaage was very tender and juicy, it reminded me of real Japanese karaage in Japan. Tan tan ramen was also amazing! The soup was very rich but was not too savoury, just right. I would like to come back again and try another dish, I know it must be delicious!

Hands down has to been one of my favorite places to get good raman noodles! The quality matches each time I go there, the broth is just to die for! My favorite from here would have to be their RCMP raman. I have been here pre pandemic and after. Still my fav!
