What a wonderful heritage site! In the summer we try to visit a few times. Learn a lot of the history of a family that homesteaded and was a huge part of the development of Prince George. It is a very kid-friendly place as the staff all get into period costumes and work as they did when the homestead was thriving. There is a great little General Store and they even have a Dog Days weekend when your pet is welcome! ( they have never had a problem if you bring your dog anyway).

I love the PG Library! The upstairs atmosphere is tranquil and the selection is impressive. The free underground parking is a nice bonus as well. Occasionally there are some awesome activities there too.
