“Roll-A-Dome centre has been a hub for local sports and recreation since it was built in 1952. The centre has a curling rink. The 30,000-square-foot facility near Highways 16 and 97 intersection began operating as a roller-skating rink in the early 1980s. The hardwood floors installed at that time still rumble under the skate wheels of today’s generation. The Dome provides a year-round home for local sports leagues, including floor hockey, soccer, lacrosse, roller derby, BMX, and skateboarding. The Dome is also famous for trade shows, antique fairs, birthday parties, and other private functions.

PRINCE GEORGE AQUATIC CENTRE REVIEWS

I had a great experience at the aquatic centre today while waiting for my truck to get fixed at Canadian tire, a clean and well maintained facility with many activities to do swimming sauna steam room, weight room and ongoing classes. I was invited to participate in the Zumba class today which I thought was amusing, but a couple of my friends from church were participating in the class. I join the class just for fun and wow I was surprised that I got a pretty good stretch and it was fun so I encourage you to get out take it vantage of our public facilities and stay fit. Id especially like to thank the staff of the aquatic centre for being so positive and friendly God bless.

Great pool, ran a birthday party for some kids. Room cost 70 bucks but got the room and an extra life guard to support some games for the kids. Generally very clean. Only quibble that day was the room was a bit messy from the previous group, and due to some seriously busy staff, they didn't have a chance to clean it. On the other hand, they were able to mediate when some of the kids were having problems with older kids in the pool. I was impressed by the professional demeanor of the life guard who met with all the kids and then negotiated the peace agreement.

We loved going here with small kids. The kids area is quite warm, has a great lazy river, and even has waves every half hour for large portions of the day! The change rooms are good for families, but there aren't many so there is a wait for change rooms at peak hours.

ROLL-A-DOME REVIEWS

We hosted a birthday party here and it's the best place in PG to do so! Fantastic service from the super friendly staff, really fun times, we played our own music on the P.A., we rode the motorized stuffy animals for an hour and a half, roller skated our hearts out and we couldn't be more grateful to have a place like this to spend time at. Super clean facility and well taken care of by the new/old (you know if you know) owners. We grew up going there, and now our kids can enjoy this place as well. Thanks again for all you do!

This building has seen better days, but Im so glad it's still here and in operation. The Nostalgia this place brings, the memories of my childhood are priceless. It's nice to be able to come here for events. Went there for the Valentine's Bazaar and it was awesome seeing so many vendors. Hope the rollerdome keeps rolling on forward, bringing fun and excitement to those who also have love for this building.

Great place for a child's party. Great service. The ride on toys were a huge hit. We're able to bring in our own food. We could get a bouncy castle delivered and set up from another business. Kids can bring in their own scotter, ride on toys... Love this place!

CHARLES JAGO NORTHERN SPORT CENTRE REVIEWS

Always loved being able to just walk in anytime during school and spend time at this gym. The top track is a bit small and you run around it to fast but there are good basketball courts, weight rooms and much more. I personally loved going to the spin classes in the mornings! The instructors are great and really keep you motivated during the morning workouts. If your thinking of heading to UNBC its a great gym within a couple minute walk to the school and residence and its very cheap for a student (like a one time payment of $10).

Really like this gym! Front staff are friendly and it’s super cheap for healthcare students which is a bonus. Has multiple areas so you can find a spot that isn’t too crowded. Has everything you need, but doesn’t have every weight training machine in the world. Track is great if you’re a runner. Would be nice if you didn’t have to pay for parking though.

One of the top options in the city for indoor workouts. The track is the main draw in my mind, but there's also a ton of cardio options, scheduled classes, as well as the usual weight rooms. The juice bar is a nice addition.
