3 Best Music Schools in Prince George, BC

I have been in to the store about six times now. I just started on the piano a few months before Covid started so a newbie. The staff was very knowledgeable and patient. I bought a cordless mic and an audio mixer from them. I had done a fair bit of research before I went in but the were able to answer the last few questions I had. They had the units in stock and were the same price as I could get them online. I shop local whenever possible and they were appreciative of that. Fred was particularly helpful for selecting the right mixer for me. I highly recommend that the local area continue supporting this gem of a place.

My experience was extremely welcoming and friendly, all staff were awesome but specifically Jacob who sold me my es 335. He was super nice and helped me with my big purchase. Boy what a player as well, great guy and a great team at the pg long and mcquade. Couldn't recommend this place more. Super friendly and fun environment for players!

I'm so stoked L&M once again made my day, or month I should say, by renting me an incredibly versatile combo amp that will rock all my recording needs! It's way more affordable than the studio software subscriptions I use to create music. The best part is, I can use 60% of the rental fee to buy it, if I want to. And I think I may, because it's brand new too!

Sound Factory is awesome! I usually just buy drum sticks on my semi regular visits but the people at the shop are always great and super helpful whether you’re talking about guitar picks or full guitar setups - everyone is stoked and is very knowledgeable! My girlfriend purchased a guitar for me for my birthday last year and she said they were awesome in helping her pick something out in the price range she was shopping within, and helped her identify features and differences between the guitars to make the purchase really easy! They also made sure to get her setup with a guitar case and the basic bits and pieces so it was ready to go when it got home. Awesome store and awesome staff, check it out if you ever need music equipment in PG!

My son and I began guitar lessons with Sound Factory two years ago without a minute of experience. The staff and instructor were welcoming, accepting and encouraging and we've made huge strides in our abilities and knowledge. When I was searching for a new amp, the staff didn't try tp upsell me, but directed me to a model that was appropriate for my abilities where I wouldn't be paying for features I would never use. Great local business.

I went in today to inquire about violins as I had been meaning to take up this instrument. The owner was very friendly and gave me lots of helpful information. They happened to have an introductory violin in stock at a reasonable price and got it all ready for me. I shopped around and I was happy to make the purchase at Sound Factory. What friendly staff!
