Our daughter Kaitlyn has been taking lessons for about 2 years now. We are so pleased with our instructor. He is just the most positive person and his teachings speak of his love of music. He has been an amazing teacher for Kaitlyn and she has learned so much and progressed so quickly with him because of his encouraging personality. She looks forward to his lessons each week and usually comes home with a new song that he has taught her

Hi! My name is Candice and I am eight years old. I have been taking guitar lessons with my teacher for over a year. It’s been really exciting so far! My Mom says he is reliable and great at keeping me focused, but I think he’s just fun! He is really patient and he makes me feel proud of myself for what I have learned and how good I am at the guitar. He is such a talented guitar player! He can play lots of songs really fast! I’ve learned so much from him!

Brady's instructor has been teaching my son for almost 3 years now. He is awesome, very kind, gentle and soft spoken. Brady is very comfortable with him, even though my son is extremely shy. Highly recommend if you want your child to learn a musical instrument like guitar. 5 stars from us!!

LONG & MCQUADE SUDBURY REVIEWS

The staff here are SO friendly and VERY knowledgeable! I had brought my 12 string in as I was having issues with one of the strings always breaking, and they took a look at it, gave me some suggestions on why it could be breaking/how to avoid it from breaking, and changed the broken string for me! All while doing these things, they were professional and friendly. Highly recommend this music store!

I've bought several guitars at this store. The employees here are incredibly nice people and so helpful. I love going here to talk about gear with the staff and playing new guitars to see how they feel. They even encourage you to grab guitars off the wall to test them out yourself. Amazing place.

I love Long & McQuade, the mom and pop shops are still around but its great to have these music superstores nearby for your one stop shop and major selection and options. The staff are always friendly.

GUITAR CLINIC REVIEWS

My dad is the one who found The Guitar Clinic for my daughter. She got her guitar 2 years ago and had been plucking at it off and on on her own since then. When he saw she had an interest (and became old enough to appreciate it) his hunt began, thus leading us here. We can't say enough good things about them! Helen and Ben are so warm and friendly, they instantly feel like family. My daughter is multiple lessons in with Ben, and already knows 6 or 7 songs!! Ben is completely in tune (no pun intended!) with how she learns, and how to make her feel encouraged and empowered. She's pretty hard on herself, but he has the magic to make her feel like it's ok to not know something or to error. The lessons she's learning from him far outweigh just playing the guitar - he's teaching her confidence and pride in a way I know she'll never forget, and THAT is worth everything! I'm so grateful that my dad found The Guitar Clinic, and that it's run by the most wholesome and loving people who genuinely care about the people that walk through their door. Thank you Ben and Helen. We can't wait to see what's next!

Awesome folks. Quirky? Sure. Highly skilled? Yup. Ben is a great teacher and Helen is a prize. Both are fantastic to deal with if you spend more than thirty seconds chatting and if you have a sense of humour. Couldn't recommend their lessons or their shop more highly.

Women behind the counter was very nice. She allowed me to shop without harassment. I ended up with a nice acoustic guitar for a reasonable price.
