Great walk right in the city. The trail system is plenty long enough for a good walk and the scenery is very beautiful right on the lake. Beaches are nice and well maintained. There is ample parking at several different locations along the park.

I enjoy Memorial Park to break up my work day I just wish there was some more consistency in enforcing the no smoking bylaw. My friends were once told to put out their cigarettes before entering the park but I have never seen a police officer or bylaw law enforcement officer there to enforce the rules on a consistent basis. There is a great splash pad and play area for children and I enjoy reading the memorial walls.
