She has received a Clinical Investigator Award from the Alberta Heritage Foundation, as well as research grants from the NIH, CIHR, Kidney Foundation, and University Hospital Foundation.

She currently serves as the Medical Director of the Renal Transplant Program, Director of the Living Donor Kidney Program, and Co-Director of the Kidney Transplant Fellowship Training Program.
