I attended with my daughter today. I wasn’t expecting a good experience based on some less than ideal interactions with healthcare in my past, but I went in with a hopeful, open mind. Her knowledge and compassion is so refreshing. She was very thorough in gathering information and answering all our questions and addressing our concerns and explaining very thoroughly and clearly. She was also patient, kind and reassuring. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Roy diagnosed my essential tremor. I am happy with my visits to her office. She is thorough and has a great sense of humour.

Hi I liked her and Dr Roy was very skilled. Being slighly deaf I herd everything and was easy to understand

’ve had only really positive experiences with Dr Mumtaz. He’s very thorough, patiently answers questions, doesn’t rush me through and/or dismiss me. He’s very serious and no nonsense, and that’s exactly what I want in a doctor. He seems to actually care, too, which is comforting. I haven’t had any more seizures in the last two years, but he still has me in regularly for checkups. I’ve never had to wait that long in the waiting room to see him for an appointment, either. Again, all really positive experiences. I’ve been really happy with the guy.

Dr Mumtaz was punctual, knowledgeable, kind, confident, & really knows how to listen to his patients. What you see is what you get. The whole truth & nothing but the truth. He is also very humble. He gave me great news, &is going to order a further test to try to get to the bottom of what is really wrong with me, & ordering for me in Peterborough so I don't have to travel as far this winter. He also offered to call me with the results. Such a thoughtful Dr.Very rare in my 45 year RN career in Scarborough.His bedside manner is delightful. When I went to leave, I shook his hand & told him all of these things. He was quite bashful, & smiled. He then blew me out of the water with his next comment. He thanked me for all of my years of service. I was speechless. NO ONE HAS EVER SAID THAT TO ME!!!!! I was speechless. I thanked him very much & left with a big smile on my face, & jot & gratitude in my heart. I can't thank him enough for how much stress he lifted from my shoulders & my daughters.

Dr. Mumtaz listened, asked questions, conducted assessments, referred me for further testing and did it all in a compassionate and courteous way. I can highly recommend him if you are seeking the care of a neurologist.
