3 Best Neurologists in St. John's, NL

Dr. Ogunyemi listened to what I had to say and told me his opinion of what he thought was wrong with me, based on what I told him. But before prescribing something to fix the issue (I was having Simple-Partial Seizures) he ordered tests to see if that was the correct diagnosis. I had another neurologist before I saw him and that neurologist ignored what I said, prescribed something I couldn't take because I am epileptic, and when I told that neurologist what I was feeling, he diagnosed it as anxiety and prescribed something that made the seizures worse! At least with Dr. Ogunyemi he took the time to order tests to see if they were seizures and once he had the test results, he prescribed the medication he believed would help. Then, years later, when I found the medication wasn't helping, he changed it to something else. Also, whenever I had to call him regarding an issue, he would always personally call me back and help sort out the problem. He is the best neurologist I ever had; I doubt there will ever be a neurologist like him - one who actually takes the time to listen to the patient, does what is necessary to help diagnose the patient, and even personally call the patient back. Dr. Ogunyemi is the best and I doubt there will ever be another doctor as good as him!

This Dr. and gentleman is truly one of a kind. His bedside manner, office care and continued support has been wonderful. I hate to think where I would be today without his help and guidance thru some difficult times. His positive attitude is always a welcome addition to his knowledge of my condition. Dr. Ogunyemi has been our daughters neurologist for over 10 years. We have and continue to be very pleased with the personal care and genuine concern that he shows. Our daughter is very comfortable talking to him and that is so important. As other patients have attested to, He listens! Dr. Ogunyemi takes the time to really listen and in doing so eases all of our minds. We never feel rushed and he always takes the time to return our calls personally. His support staff are very caring as well and as professionals never make us feel like we’re putting them out in any way. An Exceptional Neurologist!

Amazed with how fast I was seen in the neurology clinic after experiencing a possible TIA. Her resident did a thorough examinations and went over the results of my blood work ekg, carotid ultrasound and cat scan. After Dr. Eustace came in and went over my case with me eliminated TIA. I will have a EEG done now to rule out seizure. Very impressed with how fast and efficient my case was handled by all . Hopefully my EEG will be soon because I can’t drive until I’m cleared.
