“Dr. Mark Lukito completed his undergraduate degree in Honours Biology at the University of Waterloo in 2002 and his Doctorate of Optometry in Visual Science at the University of Waterloo School of Optometry in 2006. He received several awards for research and was involved in undergraduate research scholarships. He became the director of Dr. Mark Lukito & Associates under Luxottica Inc. Later, in 2016, he opened two separate office locations in Guelph and Oakville. He also served as a clinical instructor in the primary care externship program at the University of Waterloo, mentoring optometry students and participating in student volunteer programs. Dr. Mark Lukito has practised in Guelph for 16 years, focusing on primary eye care. Recently, he has expanded his practice to include concussion management and vision therapy, further enhancing his services to the community. Dr. Mark Lukito owns and leads EyeWell. He obtained an ocular disease externship at the Portland Veterans Affairs Hospital in Oregon. He also has extensive training in hospital-based optometry, including co-management of pre. and post-cataract assessments, trauma, emergency ocular care, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration and glaucoma. Dr. Ali Hussen has seen over 40,000 patients and has gained this experience through working at the busiest optometry practice in Canada. He gained a broad range of experience with a variety of patients, including children ages 6 months and up, patients with special needs, adults, and the elderly. He has obtained board certification to treat and manage ocular diseases and has referred a number of high-risk cases to the appropriate specialists, resulting in successful outcomes for his patients. I have been a patient for many years now, since moving to Guelph, and have always been grateful for the professionalism, thoroughness, thoughtfulness, and personal attentiveness, kindness, and good nature that I have received here. Dr. Yee is wonderful. Super nice and very professional. He took the time to explain everything and was really dedicated to figuring out my concerns with my eyes. Both he and Jason are very welcoming and made me feel very comfortable. I would highly recommend Dr. Yee! He was also great with my daughter and very supportive with getting her first pair of glasses and navigating the wearing glasses world! Jason was super helpful with picking out my glasses and very informative with what frames would be best for me. Thank you both for a wonderfully positive experience!

Today was our second time bringing our children to Dr. Lukito for an eye exam. Dr.Lukito is incredibly knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and patient. He took time to make our children comfortable with him, non rushed environment/not trying to push us out the door for his next appointment. Everyone in the office is pleasant when making appointments and welcoming us.

They go above and beyond! I have been going to this office for a long time and have always had a good experience. Dr. Lukito is fantastic! Since my last visit, 2 years ago, there have been some new members added to their team. They are so great I wanted to write a review immediately! I love seeing such a positive work environment and such knowledgeable staff. They are extremely helpful, even with the most complicated requests. Thanks again for all of your help!

I have always had a wonderful experience at Dr. Lukito's office. The support staff are both welcoming and efficient. The associate who gave me the preliminary tests, gave clear instructions and was patient and reassuring. Dr. Lukito is very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. He is extremely thorough and willing to take the time to answer any questions I may have. I have been going to Dr. Lukito for many years and have always had a positive experience.

Dr. Lukito has been my optometrist since he first opened his office - and I wouldn't dream of switching. Dr. Lukito and his entire team are true professionals in every sense. Dr. Lukito always takes the time to explain each step of the examination process as well as any potential issues regarding my eye health. From the reception desk to the associate who did the preliminary exams, the entire team creates a warm, friendly and fun atmosphere. This was an excellent experience. They made it easy and enjoyable and the whole process was explained in detail to me. Everyone was helpful and overall I enjoyed something that I had been putting off. Friendly staff who were knowledgeable and eager to help.

Always great service. The Dr. explained everything well. I left understanding my contacts were good for the vision I have. They don't make a stronger pair. Now I know, I will adapt.

The staff was very professional. I did not have to wait. Everything was done efficiently. They seemed to have all the latest equipment. The doctor is awesome! Friendly, approachable, thorough. I felt that my eyes are in good hands!
